Been ther for lunch and dinner, absolutely outstanding on every level from the moment you pull up in your car to the moment you leave. The staff, the food and the environment all wonderfull. Been to a place similar up the road in Oxfordshire - the Waterside beats it on every level.

My wife and I enjoyed an incredible evening/night here. We took on the taster menu with wine pairing and it was all excellent. The fois gras dish was one of the nicest things I've ever tasted. We also stayed overnight which made it an overall amazing experience. The setting, decor and staff are all a great combination of welcoming and... More

I had the the pleasure of being taken to the waterside by my partner, it was by far the best dining experience I have had. We had the tasting menu and each course was cooked to perfection, nothing to experimental with each course just perfection each time, service was impeccable and nothing was to much to ask. We also stayed... More

Our lunch here capped a phenomenal week of fine dining at Michelin-starred restaurants by some of the finest chefs in Great Britain. And since we had visited The Waterside Inn about 16 years ago, and had come away with fond memories (although the asparagus soup then was not piping hot and had to be replaced), we were looking forward to... We have been lucky enough to dine at several michellin resteraunts and this was the best by far, we were greeted by concierge who met us with an umberalla curbside and escorted us inside and then unloaded and parked the car whilst we checked in, rooms were nicely decorated and furnished as well as being very comfortable, the honesty kitchen... Finally made to the waterside, the last of the 3 stars I had to visit. Lovely sunny day (18/2/15) set the tone, after a quick pint at The Hinds Head, we made our way round the corner to The Waterside. Warmly greeted by the doorman, and then by reception and Mr Masciaga. The dining room is well appointed and the... More

The Waterside is rightly a by word for excellence. But not just the food and wine, the setting beside the Thames is superb. The service is simply the best in the world, it is confident, self assured and professional.

We had a table for two towards the rear on Saturday lunchtime We live in central London and eat very regularly at high end restaurants. Firstly, the service is highly attentive. The ratio of waiter to customer is very high. Our table was close to their central workstation and it was a bit like Piccadilly Circus. But nonetheless, the service... More

Tried several times to book for my birthday and made it last year. Perfect service from valet parking through lunch to departure. Staff were welcoming and friendly throughout, meal was perfect and ambiance was excellent. I will not wait another year to return providing I can get a reservation
