Magic.

The food was flawless. Truly a theatrics and mesmorizing experience without seeming gimmicky. The experience had enough English history and lore to make the dishes and themes connect. After eating at noma, I have realized that the pace of The Fat Duck is extremely slow.

Not every dish was to my tasting - but this was cancelled out by the fact the experience was brilliant, and the food that was good, was mind blowing! In terms of booking the restaurant, you need to be on the ball. Pick a date early - i think you need to booked 6-8 weeks in advance and bookings open... More

We went to The Fat Duck before it migrated to Australia. Our meal was amazing. Every course was a journey and memorable. My favourites were the mad tea party and the black Forrest gateau. A very expensive meal but worth it for a special occasion.

This restaurant isn't for everyone and you have to be prepared to break the bank...but if you really do appreciate food and new tastes, it really is a once in a lifetime experience. Make sure you give yourself time, it's an eating extravaganza and we were there for a 5 hour lunch! If you go for lunch and wish to... More

Atmosphere ambiance and food all spectacular. The duck accompanied by pink champagne was divine Only issue was that its difficult to obtain a booking at short notice due to its long term success

My girlfriend treated me to Fat Duck on my birthday and WOW, what a great experience. We had the tasting menu which lasted 4 hours going through 17 courses. Every dish was so unique it made the whole evening special. I am one to try new things but not every dish suited my taste buds. This however did it ruin... More

Went with my wife and daughter as a treat for my 50th. We had the tasting menu with 13 courses at £165 per head and 3 bottles of wine. Final bill of £700 is normally out of our league but you are only 50 once. We were all amazed with all the courses and how they were served. Edible sand... More

The tasting menu here is just an amazing experience. It's an eye-wateringly expensive experience but people who say "I won't pay that for a meal" are missing the point. Compare it with the best theatre tickets and you'd be closer to the point - it's entertainment, theatre, great food, good wine. Do it once in your life. You'll forget the... More

We have visited here twice, once in December 2013 and previously in December 2010. The menu hadn't changed very much since our last visit, but we were still just as delighted with the food. As you would expect, this restaurant provides you with a unique dining experience and arouses all the senses. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming and... More
