Bucket list

This was a bucket list item for me, it's not something we can afford to do regularly but it was worth every penny. £600 approximately for two tasting menus, one selection of the cheapest wine pairing and a glass of champagne. My husband only had water, which is included with the meal. I won't go... read more

The experience is very surreal and begins the minute you enter the village, I recommend having a pre drink in Hestons pub near, which also has 1 michelin star! The FD is surprisingly very subtle decor wise which I kind of liked, it's true to it's location and doesn't try to be to fancy which it has the right to... More

I enjoyed the experience to a lesser degree than expected, I have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants with equally good food combinations but you pay through the nose for nothing more than a few gimmicks.

Fantastic experience. So why not give it 5/5? I guess that I wasn't totally blown away with everything. It was professional and the experience of the taster menu was exceptional, yet it lacked a certain sparkle. And for the price and the wait, I wanted sparkle.

Had a great time and all dishes were amazing and unique. The staff were all lovely and attentive without being over bearing. Well worth it if you fancy something a little different and special.

We had wanted to go to The Fat Duck for years and we were going on a trip around Northern Europe and Scandinavia and took a big gamble and decided to fly back through London to have the chance of getting a table at the Fat Duck. Two months before the date we were lucky enough to get a booking... More

Completely bizarre, a circus of culinary experiments is the most quaint unsuspecting village. any foodie must experience this adventure at least once.

One course after the other, it is most amazing dishes that comes out from the kitchen. Not every course worked for me but I guess thats what tasting set course is all about. It was fun but after spending £850, I can not help thinking once is enough for me. It was good but once in the lifetime experience.

Have been here twice and just adore the whole experience. It isn't just about the food which was a-maz-ing but the theatre of the way it is served, presented on the extraordinary plates, dishes and all other manner of serving platters. The staff were so very helpful but not "in your face". For many of us it is a very... More
