Old building, food and a sports bar.

It has something for everything old world character, restaurant, beer garden and a 'sports bar'. The drinks are reasonable in the bar, but seem to be more expensive in the restaurant. The carvery is average, but if you are over 50 you can get a discount using a Diamond card.

Poor service, girl didn't seem to know what was going on, Both me and my mom had the carvery, priced £5.95 each, and 2 cokes, the prices of which were not on the menu, The carvery. What can I say? Meat was nice, that was about the only thing, Potatoes were very overcooked to the point of being burnt, Yorkshire... More

Went to washford Sunday afternoon for a lovely Sunday Carvery. The front of house staff weren't very welcoming and the guy who led is to our seat stunk of body odour. Once seated the waitress was lovely, the food was perfect and the rest of the afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed :)

Average prices. Really nice beer garden in the summer and has a few couches and flat screen TVs for watching football. While the food is ok 9-12 ponds for steaks, the drinks are quite deer.

Eight of us visited on a Saturday night for my Birthday, we had pre booked and were showed to our table straight away and a drinks order was taken. We had a variety of starters but the pate seemed to be the favourite. All but one of us went for the carvery which is great value at £5.99. The only... More

If I could give this 3.5 starts I would rather than 3. Was taken her for a cavery on Sunday. Overall a nice experience; the building nice, the wine was lovely and the bar staff pleasant. I hadn’t been here before and the décor and building really intrigued me, a very lovely place to be! The chap carving the meat... More

Decided to try the Carvery here after a long break as the last time I was here it was decidedly average. it still is. The best thing on the plate was the mashed potato.. Watery gravy, frozen sprouts and roast potatoes which were sweet. Think it will be a while till I visit again.
