Great value Carvery

Eight of us visited on a Saturday night for my Birthday, we had pre booked and were showed to our table straight away and a drinks order was taken. We had a variety of starters but the pate seemed to be the favourite. All but one of us went for the carvery which is great value at £5.99. The only... read more

Decided to try the Carvery here after a long break as the last time I was here it was decidedly average. it still is. The best thing on the plate was the mashed potato.. Watery gravy, frozen sprouts and roast potatoes which were sweet. Think it will be a while till I visit again.

Called in for my birthday. Food was very dry and veg looked like it had been there for a while. Asked for a little extra meat as I only eat potatoes not veg but was told no. Meat was weighed
