my father in law ordered the wild bore and mushroom pie and instead of telling him they didn't have it in stock they just brought him out a steak and kidney pie!!! No apology or anything. I mean what the hell?? What sort of place does that!!?? If you order something you don't expect to get something completely different without... More

Went here a few weeks ago. Meant to write a letter of complaint but never bothered. Service was slow. Assistant manager (as he said ) needed a clean shirt...just not a nice odour...will probably not go again ..

Our visit Washford Mill was unplanned, therefore we didn't make a reservation. Therefore we arrived and we decided to sit in the main pub area, rather than the restaurant. So as we were sat in the pub area, we had to go to the bar in order to make our drink orders. I had the Somersby cider; this was the... More

It has something for everything old world character, restaurant, beer garden and a 'sports bar'. The drinks are reasonable in the bar, but seem to be more expensive in the restaurant. The carvery is average, but if you are over 50 you can get a discount using a Diamond card.

Meat was nice, that was about the only thing, Potatoes were very overcooked to the point of being burnt, Yorkshire... More

Went to washford Sunday afternoon for a lovely Sunday Carvery. The front of house staff weren't very welcoming and the guy who led is to our seat stunk of body odour. Once seated the waitress was lovely, the food was perfect and the rest of the afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed :)

Average prices. Really nice beer garden in the summer and has a few couches and flat screen TVs for watching football. While the food is ok 9-12 ponds for steaks, the drinks are quite deer.
