I like a carvery once in a while and when I do I go here. It's reasonable priced, spacious, decent service, plenty of parking and a good bar selection The food is always a 7 out of 10 so there's no surprises and everyone gets what they expect! In the bar area there's a separate room to take your kids... More

The food was alright, you get what you pay for. But a trip to the toilets was a different matter. The restaurant has been done up but the state of the toilets were awful. There was no light as you walked in. There Was a funny smell when you walked in and really put me off. There are 4 toilets,... More

Time your visit and expect an excellent mixed roast. Dine late and can be a little tired. Be warned (duck or grouse)

We invited our family to Sunday lunch not having a carver you here before. The turkey was just a dried up carcass, the beef and gammon were quite nice but the the roast potatoes tasted like they had been left over from the night before . Veg was over cooked and cold. Very disappointed considering it was £8.95 compared to... More

Completely underwhelmed by this place. Food wasn't great, and was appalled by the state of the toilets - see photo ...

Been going there for 3 years and last Saturday when I went in the waitresses were so rude to my mum I refused to eat there. WILL NOT go back there ever again. It's ashame as the food is good.

I have been here twice for a carvery. The first time was awful - I only returned as a friend booked it for her birthday, and unfortunately the second time was even worse. There was absolutely nothing good about this food at all. The meat was dry, the vegetables were so overcooked that they all tasted exactly the same, the... More

Visited this carvery several times but disappointed this week. Roast potatoes undercooked and mushy, Yorkshire puddings and parsnips hard as rocks, cauliflower cheese undercooked and not very cheesy, food quality has definitely declined. And when having a drink in the bar i am not interested in listening to staff bickering about each other thanks!

Went on a fairly quiet day for lunch with our granddaughter we chose the carvery vegetables were steaming gammon excellent and lean.all in all good except seeing an almost depleted Turkey joint which was obviously from the previous night. This I felt should not have been used.perhaps management would like to respond.we were there prompt at midday. Pleasant surroundings with... More
