Came to The Watermill for a family breakfast and I was shocked by the poor level of service. I had been to a wedding the night before and the family all met here the next morning before going our separate ways. All in all we ordered over 40 breakfast items from the menu in drips and drabs as people arrived.... More

Welcome was was quite cold. The USP of the pub is that you can sit outside on the canal side. Outside however, all of the tables had not been cleaned or cleared. Even when another customer asked for a table to be wiped over, the waiter went inside, came out with a rag, cleaned the one table and walked by... More

Having stayed in the hotel oppodite (travelodge) the watermill looked inviting for dinner. Unfortunately the food was a major let down. I opted for a safe bet of battered fish & chips. The fish was oozing grease, the chips were clearly frozen and the mushy peas were great....probably owing the fact they where straight from a tin, and only required... More

We ate here 8 times whilst staying at the Travelodge hotel. Food was very good except for Cajun salmon which was rock hard and inedible. All the other meals that we tried were very tasty, not home cooked but well heated up. The Cajun chicken was very nice as was the chicken jalfrezi, steak and eggs, steak and ribs, double... More

Have eaten here many times with the family and had good meals and service in the past. The meal today was disappointing ... the standard of the salad was poor ... lettuce well past its best... some of it was slimy ...and rubbery boiled egg that smelled a bit off. The fish (in the fish and chips) was hard in... More

Great food, good choices but it is standard food that you get in a 2 for 1 pub. Nothing is really home cooked, just frozen chips thrown in a pan, everything standard but good enough for what we wanted. Good value though and lovely play area out the back. Staff were friendly.

Unfortunately the service has really dropped off. It used to be very good but I think the management has changed and it shows. There are four 2 for 1 pubs by us and this was always the best, but not any more. Food was OK but again this is not as good as it was.

Called in at the Watermill after being at the Safari Park on Saturday night. It looked busy so my wife ran in first to see what the wait times were - around 30 mins to be seated inside, but otherwise sit outside and order. As we had two young girls we opted to sit outside as it was a nice... More

Absolutely disgusting service, staff were argumentative and rude when ordering food. Food was partly cold, steak not cooked as requested. Glass dropped outside by a member of staff where all the children were running and playing, she never cleaned it up instead came back to get more glasses. Asked another member of staff to clean it up and he repeatedly... More

Im local to Kidderminster and the setting of The Watermill is lovely especially when able to eat outside. But I wont eat there again as yesterday myself and a friend went at 6pm (so not the busiest of times) to eat. I walked outside to pick a table only to be faced with every one of the tables looking like... More
