It's fake I walked to it down the Towpath. Saturday afternoon. Lots of staff on. Dirty glasses everywhere. Despite being the only person waiting to be served I was totally ignored. I walked out. It is totally fake, no watermills on a canal

i visit regular and know the manager, the review from the lady below is ether mistaken on the manager or spineless. I will say no more. But get a life Crete is quiet nice as well

the manager would not be able to run a bath let alone a pub he sufferers with little man syndrome so lets his puppet do his talking for him food is not good most of it is pre -cooked and warmed up bar is sticky no wonder they have a problem with rats

food isnt great. not many chips on the plate. 241 is ok for price but then the starters and puddings are high priced for just average food.

Good range of beers and food. Very quick service, and the staff see you at your table, which is nice if you have a child with you. Nice coffee. 2 for 1 offers. Very child friendly We go about twice a month.

From what I gather this pub is run by the people that used to run the land oak. I won't bother eating here again. 7 of us came for dinner and 4 of the meals came out wrong and the food was luke warm. It was mid-week so hardly busy. The portion sizes are now tiny. It might be 2 for 1 but the prices are creeping up so it doesn't even make it good value for money.... More
