Great atmosphere - Good wine & food selection

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even although it was busy when we visited, the staff were attentive and never forgot to tell us when our table was ready and check if we needed more wine or anything else. Food was what one expects from a gastropub, but plenty of wines by the glass which is... read more

Enjoyed a meal here recently which has to be the best I have had in years. The setting is superb, the decor is unique and the whole experience had a very special feel towards it. It does get busy so best to book and not be disappointed. The staff were friendly, and welcoming and very busy, the choice on the... More

Had lunch here. Lovely, friendly and welcoming. Belvoir ginger beer - delicious Eat the rose veal burger - very good dish. My companion had the sea bass - also delicately and deliciously presented. We'd go back like a shot.

We stumbled across this delightful pub en-route to Cirencester. It was a brilliant find. Would highly recommend to others. My wife & I had the beef & lamb Sunday roast lunches & they were first class. Pudding was also gorgeous. Also very good value (especially when compared to London prices anyway!). Combine faultless, friendly service with a very tastefully renovated... More

We visited the Potting Shed at the weekend and had a lovely meal. There's plenty of parking at this delightful country pub, a good range of bitters and a choice of over 40 different gins at the bar. Friendly staff were extremely helpful in recommending food from the menu, which offered a nice selection of variations on the standard Sunday... More

Dog friendly pub only 100yds from Best Western Mayfield House hotel, also dog friendly. Good menu, better than just pub food and dog allowed in large bar area where you can also eat.

Great pub in a great location, the food was really good but very expensive. We were looked after very well here and enjoyed our evening very much... The triple cooked chips were great and also the portions nice and big.

We have visited The Potting Shed many times and have had very good meals. This time for Sunday lunch, it was not so good, service was very slow and issued, food not up to the usual standard which was disappointing and a shame.
