Do have the stylised hamburger on the wooden platter accompanied with 5 x "tripled cooked chips" for £16... it says it all . Once again you are in the Cotswolds so you are going to be taken ! Nice enough place but one does get the feeling one is being turned over !

Great food. Great atmosphere. Comfy sofas. Board games. What else do you need from a traditional English pub? Can't give less than 5 stars

The Potting Shed is a rightly popular pub: the décor is country style with an original twist, the food is well sourced and the atmosphere is usually the right kind of buzzy. Dishes include old favourites such as fish and chips as well as some more unusual dishes - meats such as venison and veal often feature along with a... More

Ok, The staff were pretty good, the food was from the top drawer gastro pub, the location and building is lovely. What's missing? Simplification and a bit of service training. The decor is just a bit OTT, the menu is just a bit overwrought, the place just needs a quick brush of simplicity and easy seating and could be fabulous.... More

Lovely place to have lunch with friends. The décor is tasteful, the service is friendly and efficient. They had a lovely was of getting us focused on our order as we chatted. Delicious homemade bread selection - very tempting and it made for a really tasty and filling sandwich, I had the pulled pork filling and it was melt in... More

We went with a pre-wedding party of 35, the food had been pre-ordered, was very tasty, good value and served efficiently. Good beer selection too.

Table for four midweek. Had a pre-lunch drink at the bar. Very pleasant, good ambience, beautiful setting and decor. Then moved to our table. Flies were everywhere - on the food, bread, in our drinks. Went straight for the main course - fish and pork tenderloin. The tenderloin had no flavor, no seasoning, was undercooked and too tough to eat.... More

What a smart place this is! The inside is so quaint and has so much of what the English pub sorely lacks today. All the staff were helpful and couldn't do enough for us and the service itself was prompt. I had the haddock and triple cooked chips both of which were clearly home made and tasted lovely. The mint... More

Enjoyed a 3 course lunch at the Potting Shed today. Each course looked great but the taste and flavour did not match the appearance. Overall, perfectly adequate but not an experience I'll be rushing out to tell my friends about.
