What a wonderful evening ,last night. The village everything about Castle Combe. The Manor although not cheap, the best never is,was fantastic. Go and treat yourselves you won't be disappointed. Give yourself time to look around the village, have a drink etc. You might bump into Dr Dolittle. But seriously not to be missed.

Me and my wife had lunch here last month, must have been during the week. I have been here before myself for an afternoon tea and a lunch as part of an event but I thought I should bring my wife as well. We haven't been disappointed! The food was very good, fantastic value! In my opinion food is better... More

Much of the food is home grown and the chef is a master of his art.We are Vegetarian and there is a separate menu if you ask. In addition to the three courses as printed the chef sent little tasters before and between the courses. Not cheap but you pay for the experience and we both thought it was well worth... More

We had Sunday lunch on 3 Aug. A marvelous location and superb food all at a reasonable price for Michelin start cuisine. The food was a clever mix of subtle and intense flavors. I found the food more to my liking than that of the 2 star Michelin restaurant not far away

This is a michelin starred restaurant. We have (very fortunately) been to a few and this is really up there with the best for the quality of food that we received. Stunningly good deserts and hubby said the wine recommendations were spot on. Great relaxing atmosphere with comfortable chairs and no crowding. Only slight let down was the service (hence... More

As vegetarians we had the best meal here since eating out in New York a few years ago. I am sure it must be as good for meat eaters too!

25 July, 2014 Although we think we understand to a certain extent the reasons for their lack of consistency, we find ourselves less and less confident in the recommendations offered by the various guides (for example, of the 30 restaurants that we have visited in the Good Food Guide Top 50 there are 11 that we will not be returning... During our now annual visit to the Manor House for the Family & Food festival we decided to stay over and enjoy our sixth visit to the Bybrook. There are many reasons why we continue to return to this amazing display of Michelin star fine dining and we were not disappointed this time! Firstly my wife and I feel the... More
