Great place in every way

We stayed in Ilkley for two nights. The food was so good in Bistro Saigon we went back the next night, the staff were attentive and friendly, the food is fairly priced and the chocolate sphere desert is not to be missed for a little bit of theatre and a lot of chocolate.

Ilkley is an affluent town and there are plenty of restaurants. Given the competition it takes something special to stay top of the pile. Recommended !

Visited for the first time on Saturday lunchtime. Was not disappointed in any way, service was good, staff were very pleasant , the food was lip smacking, so tasty, portion size was good and food was cooked fresh hence a small wait for the food - but who minds the wait if it is worth it! Would recommend to anyone... More

My husband and I visited bistro Saigon tonight and I have to say this was the first time since their referb. It was I have to say a bit of a disappointment. We have eaten there many times so know how good it was. Yes it's bigger but we were sat in what must have been the basement and firstly... More

I've been to Bistro Saigon a few times before and never been disappointed. On our latest visit the food was of the normal high standard with lovely, moderately spiced starters of chicken wings, satay chicken and vegetable spring rolls. My wife and daughter in law had yellow chicken curry and green prawn curry respectively, both being superb. My son had... More

This has to be one of the most accommodating, superior restaurants anywhere in the world. We changed our booking several times in the run up to our visit due to unforeseen circumstances, the lady I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful. Food - like nothing I have ever tasted. The flavours that came through were incredible. The staff deserve... More

Having visited a number of times previously this has always been a firm favourite so there was no contest when it came to choosing a restaurant for Saturday lunch on Easter weekend. We pre-booked as we know it gets busy and this was the first time we have been since the refurbishment. We always liked the feel of the old... More

A very enjoyable place for a Vietnamese meal with also plenty of choice in dishes from Chinese & Thai cuisine. We 've been there on several occasions and have always been enchanted by it. This restaurant is now so popular that it's strongly recommended to book in advance.

We had lunch here on the spur of the moment and were delighted. The menu was interesting, the food tasted very fresh and well cooked, full of interesting flavours without being hot. it cost £29.75 for 2 of us

Although I had enjoyed a good meal here some months ago it was disappointing when we recently visited at lunchtime. The service was very slow with no apologies from a waitress who appeared disinterested. The restaurant was not busy. The food was poor. The fried spring rolls were greasy and overcooked. The main course pancake was ok but more like... More
