Good selection of real ales

Good choice of real ales. Warm and friendly welcome, extended to dogs too although note they do have a pub cat. Only called in for a couple of pints so can’t comment on the food. Gents toilets could do with a spruce up. Would definitely recommend calling in for pint or two.

Marsha and her lovely staff are very accommodating and friendly. Her beer is good and each week you have a choice of something different from wine, Prosecco or a fab Baileys coffee, and that's great if it your local pub something to look forward to! I love the newly installed log stove fire, enjoy a chat with the locals and... More

Love this place. Does what it says on the tin. Typical traditional pub with a great selection of real ales (& other beers) plus a very gregarious & full of life landlady Marsha! Thanks for the many games of pool too.

I popped in for a couple of ales on a trip from London at the weekend. Marsha looked after me with Wi-Fi access, and the beer was very good. I really hope this pub flourishes.

Brilliant traditional pub, lovely real ale, great staff, very friendly, especially Alex; he's brilliant with customers!! I only visit brighouse when I go to the cheese and wine shop, but I can't help go in and say hello for a pint. Very down to earth with a warm welcome!!

As members of CAMRA we are beer geeks and had heard of this place on the hop vine. Tried it. OK. Beer good. Place is a bit grubby and run down but looks the part from outside and gives a feel that its old with loads of history. Spoonys up the road is nicer tho.
