Family of 4. Good quality food, caters for allergies well, at reasonable prices.

Ventured here with my sister and enjoyed a bottle of wine and a catch up. We both ordered a starter which arrived in a short space of time, I then opted for the lasgane and my sister ordered the slow cooked belly pork (which is what I usually have but fancied a change, whilst the lasagne served with garlic bread... Hearty pub-grub at a responsible price in traditional pub surroundings. It's not fine cuisine, but it is decent food at a good price

I came to The Old Mill for a reunion meal with a group of my old school friends. We wanted somewhere with lovely food, nice atmosphere and a place where a fairly large group of us could spend the whole evening chatting and catching up after our meal. The Old Mill did not disappoint. We were made extremely welcome and... More

Service was good but I was a little let down on the menu choice and quality of food, don't get me wrong, it wasn't awful.. But no where near as nice or 'exciting' as the last time I visited! A bit of a boring experience really, so a little disappointed.

Me, my daughter and friend visited here for a meal after work tonight. We were served drinks in good time and seated after asking for a table. Our order was taken and our food came out super fast. They listened to my allergy needs. I had a gourmet burger and it was delicious and well presented. Our plates were cleared... More

We have just visited The Old Mill for a meal for mother's day, and I'm very sorry to say we were severely disappointed with the quality and quantity of food as well as the level of service. We arrived at 7pm for our reserved booking and weren't seated until 20 past as the manager claimed we couldn't be seated at... More

The quality of the food was variable, the burger was much better than the pie for instance. The service was quick and attentive. The young man who served us for three of the nights was polite and friendly. Overall a good place to grab a quick bite to eat, ideal for stayers at the premier inn.

Having been here a number of times, we were treating family who had come from Sussex and were really disappointed. The starters took quite some time despite the restaurant not feeling busy, the main courses were a let down - steak was a poor very fatty piece of meat that was not cooked as requested, the monkfish was cold and... The pub is a pleasant surprise in so so area. The welcome was good, the staff were friendly and very efficient. The food was fine for a place designed for many covers and a quick turn round. Worked well for business lunch. Would go again.
