We found this restaurant one evening 2 years ago and have eaten there several times since. We were taken by the little walled, lantern lit garden as we turned the corner from the funicular lift. Certaldo Alto is a pretty little place, like stepping back in time and Le Messer Boccacio is a jewel in its crown. The family and... More

We enjoyed some pasta. Pizza was ok too. The place is very nice either the terrace with a nice view or the restaurant indoor. Prices are affordable. The waiters are very polite.

We came for the pizza and the views, but the weather was threatening so we were only able to enjoy the pizza. It was delicious. Thin crust, well portioned toppings and cheese. A genuine Italian pizza with a great location (when the weather lets you sit outside). The house wine was also delightful.

This is what you came to Italy for. My wife and I sat in the garden on a beautiful April evening in 2013 and ate some of the best pizza we've ever had. A liter of the house vino rosso, combined with the excellent service, and our day in Tuscany was complete. The young lady who served us was attentive... More

The first night we went to this Restaurant for dinner we ordered a pizza each, which turned out to be the best, thinnest, crispiest pizza I have ever tasted. Needless to say, we went back to this Restaurant on another two occasions. Dinner for two with drinks, about 33 Euros. Staff very friendly.

I ate in the garden in a hot and windless day and enjoyed every moment of it. The food is excellent and the waiter is ready to advise you about the best wine to accompany the food ordered. The restaurant offers a wide variety of Tuscan specialties and pizzas. Good value for money.
