We spent a morning here and ate lunch as part of our Costa Rica/Nicaragua Monkey Tour. The Monkey Tour bus stops here - and it provides sort of the "home base - meeting point" for the 3 hours we spent in town. We walked around the city a bit, and most of the beach front restaurants seemed very similar. So... More

I ordered calamari for lunch seeing as the bar is right on the ocean. The calamari was OK, a little rubbery, but the garlic sauce it came with was borderline rancid and the frozen fries tasted as if they were cooked in oil that hadn't been changed in weeks. Hands-down the worst meal I had in Nicaragua. But the beer... More

I went looking for some place to have lunch, next to the beach, with view to the bay. They have few customers, It wan't a susprise as it is low season. We were looking for fish, they have whole deep fried fish. This is the traditional Nicaraguan fish next to the beach with a sauce of tomatoes and onions. The... More

I'm not sure why this place isn't ranked higher in TA, because the food here was delicious! The coconut shrimp is to die for. They also had a prime location on the beach with some great views of the bay, highly recommend!

The food was good and the service was good. I had breaded coconut fish, it was good and my husband had a whole fish which he also enjoyed. This restaurant is right on the beach, has a great view, and there were many people eating there when we were there.

Went on a Monday with my wife. Both of us ordered fish. My wife the fried tilapia and i had fish fillet with the white sauce. Both were bad. Mine was overcooked, tough and tasteless. The tilapia was a little better, but not by much. When we received the bill it included 2 extra drinks we had not ordered. The... More

The restaurant is located right at the beach and it is a good eating option in San Juan. Service was good as well as the food. We had a soup with seafood which was delicious and pasta with shrimps, which could have had a few more shrimps on the plate. All in all a regular place but compared to some... More

It's a lot like the other restaurants on the same strip, but the food was good. As is with most places in San Juan del Sur, the service is slow and the food is even slower. But it's a good deal, good food, and great location.

I ordered the lobster and shrimps plate, and I got 2 cubic centimeters of lobster, 3 shrimps and an handful of rice and potatoes. With two glass of wine, the bill was 18 Us dollars, which is far higher than the prices in the menu and anyway outrageous. I had to go to have another dinner somewhere else, because I... More
