excellent bread and pastry shop

The women working in my Spanish school told me about this place and I became a regular while I was in town. They bake fresh breads everyday and I honestly liked every one that I tried. I had high hopes for this place, especially for the round loaf of white bread that we bought. Our boys dove into it like Christmas, but after two bites no one touched it. A real shame because I paid about $4 for it. It was sweet and nothing like we had hoped for. The cinnamon rolls were ok, but I... More

We had the banana bread and a baguette. Both were excellent. If we had stayed longer, I would have gone back!

This little bakery is a little hidden gem for those of us that live in Nicaragua or have been traveling for a long time. It has some great baked comfort food that are fresh and hot that you can't find at a typical Nicaragua bakery. We enjoy stopping in for a breakfast sweet loaf bread and picking up some fresh... A must if you like fresh baked treats! The french bread, cinnamon buns and the raisin cinnamon loaf is fantastic! A little on the expensive side, and you have to get their a little earlier in the am to get the best selection....but worth it! Go check it out for a taste of fresh local breads!

The treats on our first day were so good that we had to go back. Highly recommend the apple bread, the banana bread, and the cinnamon rolls. The focaccia was out of this world - best bread I've ever tasted.

Our children love their chocolate chip cookies and banana bread so we went each morning on Feb 10/11/12 but each time we entered the store the three staff members could not have been more long-faced, unhelpful or uninterested. Each visit they didn't say a word to us even though we smiled, said 'good morning' and were polite. Lucky their treats... More

We always buy our speciality breads from the bakery. Their brick oven makes it special. We bought banana nut, orange nut, and regular bread although we ended up with garlic bread instead of regular bread, oops. The special treats also are very good i.e.cinnamon rolls. All items are thoroughly wrapped for travel and to keep the freshened in. I recommend... More

The bread is fresh and delicious! The mango nut bread, banana bread, garlic loaf, and sourdough bread was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed every crumb. It is a must for bread lovers.

Although the staff were a but surly and uninterested in us, we ordered a great loaf of mango nut bread that was sensational.
