Dining on the Beach

We have eaten here twice over the past week, once for lunch and once for dinner, Both meals were pricier than most others in the area, but both meals were also better than most others in the area. I've got two boys ages 19 and 17 who eat like they are going to the electric chair, but have very... read more

This was our first meal in SJDS and we picked it because it was easy. My mango margarita was big and strong. My steak was okay. My husband and daughter loved the cerviche. My husband also had the octopus, the portion was so large he didn't finish it, though it was excellent. My other daughter had the seafood pasta and... More

I was there in April. I sat down with my group and then I smelled the odor of bleach. I saw that the bathrooms were being clean so I asked to be moved. The waiters told me no. I found an unoccupied table and asked to move there and again I was told no. I asked for the manager and... More

excellent food,I had a great shrimpcocktail there, another time octopus carpacchio and steamed clams.Efficient service, cold beers and if bugs bother you they light a special candle on your table.During the day it's fun to watch the goings-on on the beach,if you want you step right down and take a dip for dessert.

This is the best run resturaunt in SJDS. Lots of other places/ hotels try to steal these guys after they get trained up. They know exactly how to act, what questions to ask, they "hover" just correctly, not to where they are bothersome, but always around when you need them. Food is DELISH, and very reasonable for a nice restaurant.

Went there last Thursday during their happy hour! Had all of the appetizer for $1, ordered the chicken wings and the fish wth my Mojito! The staff are nice and attentive but the place is a really busy spot! Worth it!

I decided to splurge on myself and I ordered the lobster prepared El Timon style. It came with onion rings, a salad, and small baked potato. plus they serve you pre-dinner chips (which were excellent by the way). The lobster was a huge serving, but the taste and texture not so good and in a couple of areas it was... More

An attractive, clean beachside restaurant! Good selection of entrees: Fish, Fowl, Flesh! Cold Dorado! Beach access and seating. Prompt, courteous service. Ample portions. Fine dessert selection. All at reasonable price. Nothing spectacular, but what could be better on a tourist budget! You fellow dinner companions, perhaps?
