Great service and excellent food! Everywhere is expensive to eat in this town, but if you want a great meal then spend your money here.
Large open dining room and verandah area where one could sup a nice bottle of the local 'Premium' beer and watch the world go by.
el timon is one of the largest restaurants in sjds - the selection on the menu is very good-chicken/beef/pork though this is the place for seafood -shrimp/lobster/fish -with a taste that is wonderful at a economical price that will suprise -the restaurant also is the place that provides special events that i think people will enjoy with their meal

The restaurant is in the heart of town and beachfront! The service was great, the food was amazing amd the prices were cheap! I had the lobster in garlic sauce which included three huge lobster tails for less than $20, Finger licking delicious!

The food was good, the prices were a bit high for my liking, but the service was great and the food was delicious, I must say that.
Great place to soak up some culture and tasty food, but for me was a little pricy at 15-25US$ a head, which in nicaragua is expensive for what came in front of you. i went there 3 times during my times in nicaragua, its a great place to take friends for a 'nice meal' but one time we waited 40mins... They will cook your favourite seafood to your own recipe if U like. I love lobster tails so specified that I wanted them cooked in butter with red chilli flakes, garlic and cilantro. No problem 😊
