We were here for 6 days in a row (also because our hostel was next door), sometimes more than once a day, because the food was amazing. Every single time. Even the lasagna was well executed and tasty, better than some of the lasagna's I had in Italy!!! I have never had such authentic Western food in China, let alone... More

This is a good place to hang out and get updated with travel information in English language, info of where to rent a motorbike etc. The place attracts foreigners, perhaps due to lonely planet or similar. The street is so lush with trees and vegetation so sitting outside is like being in the jungle even if it is a street... More

By any standards a great cafe, especially the front terrace surrounded by trees. Planned our trip and read books for hours. The best breakfast deal I've had in China. Useful info book on hiking and activities. We did not eat other meals here, preferring instead to go local.

This is possibly my favourite cafe in China (after almost 2 years of living here). The food is absolutely superb and the service second to none. The atmosphere is also really nice whether you’re sat out the front, inside or in the courtyard at the back. We would usually try a variety of restaurants if we stay somewhere for several... More

Visited this place a number of times (just a couple of doors away from Mekong Cafe) and overall feel and atmosphere is better than Mekong Cafe. However, the food (apart from salads and Western breakfast) are not as good. Pizza and the local Chinese food was poor. However, the outdoor seating is not as cramped and inside is much larger.... Decent cafe with helpful service but average food. What we appreciate the most is the information bank about the region they hold. We highly recommend hikes with Mr Rush - an unforgettable experience, path and places you will never find on your own.

After an action packed day of nature reserves, local villages & elephants this place was great to come to for food & drinks. A relaxing atmosphere to chill out with a beer or a coffee & free wifi. All the staff were friendly, and one of the staff members was super friendly, loved to chat to the visitors & spoke... More
