Stopped in at Boxers for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Great and different selections on the menu as well as standard fair. If you wanted a beer at lunch you have a great selection. The atmosphere is small and intimate. Beats fast food. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

We have been dining and drinking at Boxer's for over 20 years. My Irish friend said that it comes the closest to a true Irish pub of any place he has been to in the US. It's beer and sandwiches and other bar type food. Small, crowded on Friday night, with friendly, helpful wait staff. As they used to say... More

Huge selection of beer. They do not serve wine but do have several "fruity" beers that are very good. Nice selection of vegetarian sandwiches. I like the melt sandwiches with chopped veggies and melted cheese on top ( and I not even a Vegan!).

Context is everything...I was in this neck of the woods for some biking around Rothrock State Forest. I decided to give my legs a rest and visit Huntingdon. The guys in the bike store nexrt to Boxers recommended this as the best beer and burger place in town. I'd say this is the best beer and burger joint for many... More

We've been here a number of times when I visit my family in the area. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is friendly. We're big fans of beer and there aren't many places around to get craft brews so we enjoy this aspect of Boxers. It's a little small inside but let's call it 'intimate'. Will definitely be... More

We were greeted warmly by the bar keeper and can sit anywhere. It's a small but warm place so the bar fills quickly. We had a nacho appetizer which was solid. Great selection of beers. Had the beef sandwich bake and the Reuben. Again solid. Got the beer battered mushrooms as my side and they are to die for. We... More

Best casual spot for meeting up with friends! Great beer selection on tap and exceptional burgers and fries. Very extensive menu and cheap prices. Plenty of vegetarian options too! Don't shy away from ask about dessert- the owner's wife makes life-changing carrot cake and seasonal pies. Going to miss this place!

We were looking for a late lunch on our way back to State College from Balanced Rock. Boxers was recommended on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. We had an assortment: fish and fantastic home fries, pita with veggies & hummus, queisadia, fish sandwich, a large salad, and marvelous beer battered... More

Their food is delicious. Their fries, salads, and sandwiches are all, well, YUM! And let's not even start on desserts ... oh my! The location is cramped and crowded, but that is okay, it is a quaint pub setting with a really close feel. The only issue I have is the dust that collects on the ledges above your table... More
