Excellent food at a reasonable price

Otto's serves German specialties and it's very good. My date ordered the Pork Tenderloin Dusseldorf and loved it (and what else matters?). I ordered the Neuschwanstein and the flavor was exquisite. The pieces of meat seemed a bit overcooked, though, and a couple were gristle and couldn't be... read more

This is my first low rating and it was well deserved. We stopped by at 7pm on a Tuesday and were seated right away and brought menus, rolls and beverages by the hostess, with an empty promise that a waitress would be right with us. Twenty minutes later and no waitress , we left and found a restaurant across the... More

The pieces of meat seemed a bit overcooked, though, and a couple were gristle and couldn't be swallowed. Bummer. That is what kept me from giving a 5 star... More

I took my wife there today for her birthday. I raved to her about how good the food in Germany was. We arrived there and ordered jager snitizel, and it was very tough veal. Rubber band style ! The German chocolate cake tasted very stale ? My wife is a little Leary about going to Germany for a trip. I... More

I had the Sunday Buffet, with my partner ordering from the standard menu. The Prime rib from the menu was huge, tasty and made to our order. Our server was friendly and attentive. Buffet had veal schnitzel, pork loin, veal and beef dishes, prime rib, soup, mixed sausage, purple cabbage, sauerkraut, corn, etc., potato salad, cucumber salad, and nice desert... More

This restaurant was next to our hotel and recommended by their staff. We went around 6:30 p.m. and had to seat ourselves and our waiter was not very attentive. In fact, we had another waitress come up later to see if we had even been served yet. No drinks. I got a hamburger and found it very good. My friend... More

I've driven by this place over 30 years when traveling to visit in laws. Tonight we went to celebrate mother in law's birthday because she had a 20% off coupon. My salad was unremarkable. My steak- NY Strip- was charred all around and extremely tough. My son hates when I send food back so I kept it and quietly sawed... More

This place was located next to my hotel we are there a few nights and the food was really good. The prime rib was huge and tasted great. Good prices and friendly staff and a ton of German beers on tap. Would visit again.

If you want an authentic excellent German meal, Otto's in Hiorsham is the place to go. The Sunday buffet is a great time to go to try the Schnitzel, Sausage samler, Spaten, roasted potato's, plus more. The deserts are great; I recommend the Apple Strudel They have a lot of choices of German beers, plus other imports, and domestic beers..

We sat at the bar and the bar tender was friendly and attentative. As to our dinner it was awful. I had the goulish and it was so salty it was unedable. I also had the potato pancakes they were under done with chunks of potato in them. My friends dinner was just as bad. Stop for a drink but... More

The food was average at best. With a table of 7 no one liked the service and no one was happy with the food. I expected much much better! Everyone I spoke with said it was Great but if that is their impression of great, well, its sad.
