Lots of Good Food for Lunch

Lunchtime is a great time to experience this attractive, fun Homestead establishment. If there was a 3-1/2 rating, they would get it, but not quite a 4. Plenty of food comes your way and you won't leave hungry; in fact, I took enough home for another lunch. Don't forget, the Waterfront is a... read more

Was basically ignored by the waitress, my sushi sat on the sushi bar for almost 30 minutes while my date ate her hibachi. When the sushi finally came it was the wrong roll.

We were at the waterfront and thought this would be a fun place to grab a bite. They could not seat us but we were able to grab a high top at the bar for four. Everything was served at the same time despite our request to do the opposite. One ordered the scallops hibachi style and you could smell... More

We were exhausted after a long day and I had to have sushi. We have been to this location before, and the service had been excellent. It did not disappoint this time, either. Even the table buss person was super friendly and very attentive. What a nice group of people, and the manager is around checking on you. Excellent sushi,... More

I stopped in for lunch after arriving in Pittsburgh. I needed something quick but tasty and was pleasantly surprised at what I found. I ordered scallops which came with a mixed salad with ginger dressing and fried rice. It wasn't too much and hit the spot just right. Service was quick and pleasant. Drop in if you feel the urge... Always a pleasure to stop at Yokoso for dinner and or drinks. The sushi is made very fresh and the hibachi is truly a delight to watch and eat.

We had dinner here on a Wednesday evening, was seated right away. I got the Shrimp Stir-Fry and my husband got the Scallop & Shrimp Stir-fry. It came with the typical salad and soup. The Scallop and Shrimp stir-fry was delicious and it was very hot when we got it. I would definitely go back here. They had a sushi... More

All of that said the reason for a return trip to Pittsburgh in the future will be to visit Yokoso. The service and the staff was simply amazing!!!! Also the food was... More

Went for wifes birthday. Was not busy so we were seated promptly. Waitress was pleasant. Ordered shrimp apptizer over cooked and a hair was cooked in one alerted waitress, they took it off bill and a 20 percent off total bill. Manager never came over to apologize for mistake. Chef Colin did great job, food preparation was excellent. Waitress did... More

Thought I was really going to enjoy the meal based off some word of mouth feedback. But this was not a good experience. Group of 4 for an evening out. We all tried a different combination of meats and fish in this Japanese restaurant.Quality of food was average(way to much soy in everything) waited a long time for our chef. The manager... More
