Japanese food with a chef show

this is similar to another chain, with chefs at the center of the table. Food fine but not outstanding. Rather noisy, and the smell of oil permeates the air. Could they use less oil? they did accommodate someone allergic to shrimp and prepared their food in the kitchen, as otherwise shrimp all... read more

Much better options around here. Worst hibachi we'd ever been to and most expensive. Place wasn't busy but service was very slow. Salad dressing is not good, not the typical. Will say, Colin is the best hibachi chef of anywhere but that didn't make up enough for the rest sadly.

Went on a Saturday night so to avoid the wait sat at the bar. Served pretty much straight away, food took a little while but was not too long. Very tasty. Popular place. Will go again.

We live in the area, never been to Yokoso Steak and Sushi House. Mainly because we are not fans of sushi. Didn't see the point of going. We were invited out for a family celebration. We went on a Tuesday evening and sushi is half off. So if you are a fan, this is when you should go for the... More

A few friends and I went to Yokoso for our New Year's dinner. Knowing it would be busy we made reservations around a week in advance. We didn't mind having to wait 15 minutes past our reservation because it's a holiday, they are busy, we understand. What was annoying is we got the text message our table was ready, so... More

Had a last minute dinner with a friend, and we got Benihana-caliber food and service. Salad actually had a good amount of dressing, and green onion soup was piping hot. Shrimp app was tasty, and meal itself was overboard on portions! Filet was cooked perfect, fried rice and vegetables were awesome. Our cook was very entertaining. I do think the... More

My girlfriend and I only had drinks here, but they were amazing drinks. Sake Bombs and Coconut Martinis were are favorites. The bar is right up front so you get to see everyone that comes in or leaves. This made for some interesting people watching on a Saturday night. This was one of our stops before going across the street... More

Our family decided to have a combined birthday & anniversary celebration at Yokoso for seven of our family members. We were seated at a table in Cody's section and he was extremely attentive all evening, refreshing drinks and checking up on us. The food in most hibachi restaurants seems very similar, and Yokoso's is on par with the best of... More

The food was good. It was a pleasant walk from the hotel where we stayed. Just what we needed after a long day of driving.

For me, Japanese Steak Houses are "hit or miss." If you get a bad hibachi chef, it can ruin the entire experience. However, if you get one like Matt (who cooked for us last night), you can have a really good time. Between his cooking skills and Cody keeping us stocked with drinks, it was a great visit. The food... More
