Birthday

Went for wifes birthday. Was not busy so we were seated promptly. Waitress was pleasant. Ordered shrimp apptizer over cooked and a hair was cooked in one alerted waitress, they took it off bill and a 20 percent off total bill. Manager never came over to apologize for mistake. Chef Colin did great... read more

We had dinner here on a Wednesday evening, was seated right away. I got the Shrimp Stir-Fry and my husband got the Scallop & Shrimp Stir-fry. It came with the typical salad and soup. The Scallop and Shrimp stir-fry was delicious and it was very hot when we got it. I would definitely go back here. They had a sushi... More

We went to Pittsburgh and visited the Science Center, Kennywood and went to a Pirates game, oh and we made a day of a trip to the zoo. All of that said the reason for a return trip to Pittsburgh in the future will be to visit Yokoso. The service and the staff was simply amazing!!!! Also the food was... More

Thought I was really going to enjoy the meal based off some word of mouth feedback. But this was not a good experience. Group of 4 for an evening out. We all tried a different combination of meats and fish in this Japanese restaurant.Quality of food was average(way to much soy in everything) waited a long time for our chef. The manager... More

I'm surprised on the bad reviews of this place - I've been here a few times and have had good service and great food (way too much to eat in one sitting) every time. I typically get just sushi (along with the seaweed salad) and my husband gets the hibachi. Priced like any other place and I think the portions... More

horrible service after waiting over an hour for my dinner the waitress served cold steak and chicken that must've sat out from hibachi grill with mushrooms (after specifically requesting no mushrooms due to allergic reaction) also ordered a sushi roll because it was "tsunami tuesday" that was made with cold tempura shrimp (tempura shrimp is normally deep fried). Requested managers... More

Much better options around here. Worst hibachi we'd ever been to and most expensive. Place wasn't busy but service was very slow. Salad dressing is not good, not the typical. Will say, Colin is the best hibachi chef of anywhere but that didn't make up enough for the rest sadly.

Went on a Saturday night so to avoid the wait sat at the bar. Served pretty much straight away, food took a little while but was not too long. Very tasty. Popular place. Will go again.

this is similar to another chain, with chefs at the center of the table. Food fine but not outstanding. Rather noisy, and the smell of oil permeates the air. Could they use less oil? they did accommodate someone allergic to shrimp and prepared their food in the kitchen, as otherwise shrimp all over the grill. I had the scallops which... More
