Found this place on a tip during a conference. Good thing, because I would not have gone otherwise. The restaurant is below a tired-looking Howard Johnson hotel, but once you go down the stairs you'll feel like you've gone down the rabbit hole. Lobby has some very upscale art, and a very professional hostess. We were seated immediately, even without... More

My wife and I rented a room at the questionable HoJos and decided we would try out What Ifs. To our surprise, it was a pleasant dining area but the menu also shocked us. Who would have thought a classy venue would be below that hotel. Nonetheless, we decided to give it a shot to "treat" ourselves. Food: For the... More

This restaurant was on-site at the hotel and saved us when we returned to the room tired from a day of activities. The prices were very reasonable and the serving size adequate. The food was good and they have a children's menu that is more than adequate also.

We were a group of 20 + and had made reservations but then shrunk to 17. The staff was great at rearranging and letting us have a great time as a large family. Dessert was great for those who had it and it was great food at a reasonable price. The 20% gratuity was well earned.

Had dinner party there for nieces birthday. Didn't think we were in the right place when we pulled up(Ho-Jo's?) but once inside the restaurant it was easy to see why it was recommended to us. Donna and the rest of the staff were great and friendly, food was fantastic as we'll, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great... More

We never even ordered, upon entering the place was nice and unique - just what we were looking for. But then we entered the basement dining area and were seated. I brushed a piece of food from my chair as we sat down. They took our drink order right away but my wife and I both brought up the musty... More

Yes go down the steps into a wonderful little haunt of paradise. When possible, you can also dine "al fresco". The music, the TVs for sports fans, the great food, the very reasonable prices & even better service (thanks Dennis) all combine for a memorable experience!

Very unexpected. I would not to find a restaurant like this in a hotel like that. Very tasty and good service. Food came very fast. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. We did go there at 10 pm on a Monday night and they were empty so that may be part of a pleasant experience but, still, very tasty
