Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Harrisburg Magazine in 2009, Piazza Sorrento is a modern Italian restaurant based on the "Old World" Italian recipes of the owner's family back in Italy. The Bolognese sauce they grew up on and the tradition of family is the cornerstone of the Piazza Sorrento dining experience. Dedicated to providing the finest in service, food, and wine at a fair and competitive price, Piazza Sorrento makes regional and classic Italian cuisine using premium local ingredients while keeping the history of the dish and region intact. Piazza Sorrento not only provides the best in authentic Italian cooking this side of the Atlantic, but also believes that all patrons, whether adults or children, should be welcomed like one big family - even those with certain dietary requirements. That is why Piazza Sorrento is widely known for their extensive Gluten Free menu, another reason patrons routinely drive over an hour or more to dine in relative ease and safety.

Although I have never been here for dinner, I have now eaten lunch at this restaurant at least half a dozen times. Each visit has been fantastic. Being a creature of habit, I always have the delicious homemade soup, the chicken Parmesan, and a wonderful dessert. I like that they offer suggested wine pairings for each entry. But most of... Our dinner was delicious. I had the lobster ravioli. My sister is gluten free and couldn't believe the variety of options they offered. She had the meat lasagna which she said was the best she's eaten in years. I thought it was amazing since I finished her leftovers! We all enjoyed the desserts and wine as well. Again several gluten... More

We were in Hershey for a conference and saw this restaurant recommended by Trip Advisor so decided to give it a try. It was delicious, excellent wait staff, friendly people all around. The lobster ravioli was wonderful. We look forward to going back. We also tried the calamari it was good but not as tasty as the main meal.

On a previous business trip to Hershey, I happened upon Piazza Sorrento and lucked into a table. My first experience there led me to want a second, and they did not disappoint. If you’re looking for some fantastic Italian food, make a reservation if you have to and pay these guys a visit. This time I went the more “traditional”... More

We had a wonderful dinner experience at Piazza Sorrento. Both the homemade lobster ravioli and beef shortribs were amazing. The waiter was really nice and the restaurant accomodated us in a booth (we had our two boys, 3.5 yrs olds and 7 yrs old with us). It was opening weekend at Hershey Park and the restaurant was full but surprisingly... More

Trip Advisor helped guide our family to this restaurant and we were completely impressed. The best part was it offered gluten free. My family have recently started a paleo diet so the ability to maintain our diet on vacation was a huge surprise. Our waiter Austin was fabulous. He provided us with education on top of excellent service. If you... More

We came to Piazza Sorrento on a Friday night at 530 wanting to eat in the restaurant. With out a reservation though we wouldn't have gotten in until 730. So we ate on the pizza side instead. The staff was friendly and the pizza was good. It had a fresh thin crust, was light on tomato sauce, and didn't skimp... More

Our server, Austin, made the entire meal entertaining and enjoyable. The good itself was great. We came here to eat with family and friends and would absolutely come back again and would love to have Austin serve us again.

the atmosphere was romantic with low lighting and the waitress was super nice with a huge smile each time she came to the table. We got the fried ravioli and meat lovers pizza. The Laredo sauce on the ravioli was amazing and had my husband and I coming close to just picking the plate up and licking it clean. The... More
