Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Harrisburg Magazine in 2009, Piazza Sorrento is a modern Italian restaurant based on the "Old World" Italian recipes of the owner's family back in Italy. The Bolognese sauce they grew up on and the tradition of family is the cornerstone of the Piazza Sorrento dining experience. Dedicated to providing the finest in service, food, and wine at a fair and competitive price, Piazza Sorrento makes regional and classic Italian cuisine using premium local ingredients while keeping the history of the dish and region intact. Piazza Sorrento not only provides the best in authentic Italian cooking this side of the Atlantic, but also believes that all patrons, whether adults or children, should be welcomed like one big family - even those with certain dietary requirements. That is why Piazza Sorrento is widely known for their extensive Gluten Free menu, another reason patrons routinely drive over an hour or more to dine in relative ease and safety.

Good pizza

We came to Piazza Sorrento on a Friday night at 530 wanting to eat in the restaurant. With out a reservation though we wouldn't have gotten in until 730. So we ate on the pizza side instead. Our server, Austin, made the entire meal entertaining and enjoyable. The good itself was great. We came here to eat with family and friends and would absolutely come back again and would love to have Austin serve us again.

the atmosphere was romantic with low lighting and the waitress was super nice with a huge smile each time she came to the table. We got the fried ravioli and meat lovers pizza. The Laredo sauce on the ravioli was amazing and had my husband and I coming close to just picking the plate up and licking it clean. The... More

This small italian restaurant is that rare combination of pleasant atmosphere, pleasant and accomodating staff, reasonable prices and excellent food. The pizza we ordered was New York style with pepperoni and sausage while others in our group ordered hot subs. Everybody enjoyed the food and not a bad word could be found.,

Went for the Restaurant Week in Hershey dinner with my wife. Food was outstanding! Had bruschetta, chicken parm and cannoli! All delicious! Our server Austin was awesome! A true taste of Italy in Hershey!

Piazza is great at working with my allergies (tomatoes) and I can honestly say so far I've been able to eat there without any issues, which is often a problem at places!

Restaurant is owned and run by Pete, and he does an excellent job. Food is always good here. Try their Sunday special, which is a large pizza (excellent pizza, by the way!) and two soft drinks for around $10.00. (Note: The full service restaurant is not open Sundays, only pizza and subs, and full bar.)

Tried this place based on other reviews, it was excellent! I had the steak blue cheese Alfredo, very good. Tried the pasta fagoli and it was fantastic. The peanut butter chocolate pie was great! My server Carole did a fantastic job and was constantly checking with me to make sure all was good. Will definitely stop again when in town!

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant and we would highly recommend it. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and good food including homemade pasta.
