Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Harrisburg Magazine in 2009, Piazza Sorrento is a modern Italian restaurant based on the "Old World" Italian recipes of the owner's family back in Italy. The Bolognese sauce they grew up on and the tradition of family is the cornerstone of the Piazza Sorrento dining experience. Dedicated to providing the finest in service, food, and wine at a fair and competitive price, Piazza Sorrento makes regional and classic Italian cuisine using premium local ingredients while keeping the history of the dish and region intact. Piazza Sorrento not only provides the best in authentic Italian cooking this side of the Atlantic, but also believes that all patrons, whether adults or children, should be welcomed like one big family - even those with certain dietary requirements. That is why Piazza Sorrento is widely known for their extensive Gluten Free menu, another reason patrons routinely drive over an hour or more to dine in relative ease and safety.

Excellent Italian food.

It was quite a surprise as we walked thru the doors of this restaurant. The service was outstanding. First time ever that as you walked in they asked about allergies or meal preferences. The food was wonderful, a good value for your money.

Wonderful ravioli with a variety of fillings. Oh, the special squash and parma ham! Check the menu and be sure to go when that is on!! I appreciate the ease with which one can customize the order. Attentive wait staff! Lunch specials change, but great regulars, such as the lasagna, are always "on." The home made pasta is really made... More

Stopped in to have lunch with my family and was very pleasantly surprised. We've been to a number of restaurants in Hershey but hadn't tried Piazza Sorrento. From the salad & dressing, to fresh homemade rolls to incredible pasta - everything was delicious. We didn't get to try the homemade desserts but it's in the plans for the next visit... More

This was my first experience at Piazza Sorrento and I have to say it was beyond what I had expected. I will make the 2 hour trip back win my husband for the amazing grilled gnocchi. It was a very hearty portion served in a delicious sauce with some chopped vegetables. The owner was very much in evidence and made... More

The pizza is excellent, far surpassing most attempts at pizza elsewhere in the Harrisburg area. There are very good full entries as well, and a good selection of wines. The place can get a little crowded in good weather, or at other times when out-of-towners flock to Hershey, but it is worth the wait. The parking lot is a bit... More

We frequent Piazza Sorrento, and are never disappointed. Every once in a while we try a different place, and always end up saying 'I wish we had gone to Sorrentos.' Consistently great food and service.

Best Papparadelli I had so far! It's a hard pasta to find and I love it! My evening was enjoyable and relaxing, I was not rushed and was greeted warmly. I will definitely be back!

I love this restaurant. The servers are always helpful and go out of their way to make dining fun. It is a great place for those who need gluten free. I would give a suggestion on a menu item, but I love them all. The calamari is fresh, not frozen and the rolls - ahh, the rolls.

Truly awesome and definitely home-cooked food. My young son has Celiac Disease and I really appreciate being able to eat at a restaurant and not feel ill at ease wondering if his food might be cross-contaminated. At Piazza Sorrento, they take extra care to be sure they are giving you a gluten free item that has not been in contact... More

Piazza Sorrento serves fresh, homemade pasta! As an Italian American (second-generation American) it important to me that Italian food is authentic (not from a box.). They make their own cheese too. Their sauces are delicious! I have an allergy and they prepare dishes especially for me, their guest they treat their guests incredibly well. Desserts are homemade by AnnaMaria. I... More
