Well lit, very clean, nicely decorated Scottish pub. Friendly, attentive service. There were casual diners as well as a few who were dressed very nicely - everybody fit in. Chicken Oscar & Shepherd's pie were very good. I'd go back again.

What a nice atmosphere. I can still remember back in the day when the place was the Eagle Hotel. And then Hellertown Hotel. Good food!

We stopped in for dinner on our way home. We have eaten here several times with our car club, this time we came for a casual family meal. As usual, the staff was friendly and professional, the menu just right and beer just right. Nice Celtic/Scottish flair without being a gimmick. One complaint that day was that the ground beef... It is a warm but robust atmosphere. There are two private rooms. One holds 50 people. It is community minded and offers opportunities for fundraising. Parking adjoins the pub in a rather limited parking area. The bartenders are knowledgeable about the English, Scottish and Iris beers the have on tap.

I enjoy anything British or Celtic and this was an oasis in an otherwise drab little town. The interior of the pub is authentically decorated and the menu contains several of the usual suspects one would expect to find in a Scottish or Irish pub. The food was good, the wait staff was friendly and the prices werer fair.

Wifwe and I went to visit our daughter in Hellertown and took us to Braveheart. I had the braised short ribs which melted in your mouth. The bartenders were on top of their game and the food was outstanding. Can't wait to visit Braveheart again...i mean my daughter.

We went to this place hoping to enjoy the "authentic" Scottish atmosphere they claim to have, however, when we arrived, we noticed there was American music playing through the sound system, American baseball on the telly, and only the female staff were wearing kilts. Definately NOT authentic. Just another sports bar.

Great beers to chose from, nice friendly atmosphere with good service. The kitchen does a nice job with food variety and preparations.

Where else can you enjoy English/Scottish food and drink at reasonable prices in a very nicely restored pub? Have been there several times in both the pub area and restaurant area...prefer the pub tables by the bar. Oh, and with Youngs Chocolate Stout on tap, how can you go wrong? Last visit, with family, in the restaurant area, poor service... More

A nice little place for drinks and sandwiches. Good food and great martinis. Nice staff. Perfect for a small impromptu get together.
