We went to this place hoping to enjoy the "authentic" Scottish atmosphere they claim to have, however, when we arrived, we noticed there was American music playing through the sound system, American baseball on the telly, and only the female staff were wearing kilts. Definately NOT authentic. Just another sports bar.

Great beers to chose from, nice friendly atmosphere with good service. The kitchen does a nice job with food variety and preparations.

Where else can you enjoy English/Scottish food and drink at reasonable prices in a very nicely restored pub? Have been there several times in both the pub area and restaurant area...prefer the pub tables by the bar. Oh, and with Youngs Chocolate Stout on tap, how can you go wrong? Last visit, with family, in the restaurant area, poor service... More

A nice little place for drinks and sandwiches. Good food and great martinis. Nice staff. Perfect for a small impromptu get together.

i had never found an actual Scottish restaurant before. Scottish food is usually just an afterthought at an Irish restaurant. This place has good food, great service, and a great atmosphere!

We arrived as the staff were cleaning up on a Monday night as not a lot open! However they welcomed is and said no problem when we asked if we were too late. We got served with a smile and promptly. Food was perfect. We were a hungry group and demolished it all rather quickly. We recommend the fish and... More

Braveheart is a great place to go for drinks and munchies, but I love their meat pies too. Total comfort food, sometimes I order it as take-out when I've had a bad day. Their meat pie with gravy, mashed potatoes and peas always make me feel better!

We drive to the Poconos every year in the fall from Myrtle Beach, SC and we make a point to drive down from the Poconos to The Braveheart in Hellertown for the Sticky Toffee Pudding! This year the salad was great, the seafood special was fixed perfectly and the dessert was so good we ordered an extra STP to go... More

Based upon local opinions and TA reviews, I chose Braveheart for dinner last week. I overlooked the Irish food and went for the burger. In some restaurants, it is better to ask the waitress how the chef is going to cook your burger, rather than asking it to be cooked the way you like it to be. This was one... More
