I have been going to Senapes since I was a child, it is without a doubt the best Pizza anywhere, or as they say in Hazleton, "Pitza". Try all of the menu items, you will not be disappointed with anything that you order. Order the large square with scamutz and fried peppers along with an antipasti with hot peppers..

Going here for pizza is like stepping back in time to the good old days. Reminds me of the 70s when I was a kid. Great food but try some pizza.

The Hot pepper salad, anti-pasta and fresh bread prepare your tastebuds for the great Pitza. With pitchers of fresh draft beer to wash it all down.

The original and still the best pizza in town. Sitting in the back dining room takes you back to the "Good Old Days" when Charlie Senape was tending bar and the town was safe and secure. Still tastes the same and Debbie the waitress is always friendly and anything on the menu is the perfect choice. You cannot have a... More

I know that title sounds extreme, but the pizza (called pitz in Hazleton) is luscious! Crispy squares of perfect pizza dough topped with savory sauce and melted cheese! Just perfection! The full menu is spectacular also. One has to walk through a neighborhood bar to get to the restaurant in back, but it is worth it. The dining room could... More

This place is not for everyone. If you like old fashioned gin mills you'll like it. If you are into the modern day bar scene you'll be disappointed. The decor is well--old. It says since 1933 and I'll take their word. Nothing fancy but the pitza is great and the menu hasn't changed in years.. We drive from Harrisburg (about... More

The pizza is not as good as it was years ago, but still tasty. Prices are excellent. I love the relaxed atmosphere. This place has been here for years and is a historical site in itself. Definitely worth visiting!

This place hasn't changed since "coal was king", and the miners stopped after work for a shot and a beer. The dining could use a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. The menu was printed on a plain sheet of paper and had the previous diners' finger prints on it. Table cloths were of the plastic dollar store... More

My family and I ate here for the first time recently. We had ordered a pizza, salad and the manicotti. We thought the food was very good, and would have loved the bread they'd brought out if it hadn't been a couple of days old. The service was good, but the dining area was dirty, uncomfortable and outdated. Takeout might... More
