this place has been around a long time, over 100 years. I grew up about 20 minutes away and have very fond memories picking up pitzas from early on. Hazleton has faced an uphill battle the last few years - ever since the decline of anthracite coal to be honest, but a Senape's is for many nothing short of an... More

I have been going here since I was 6. Always great food. Any dish is wonderful, but whatever you have you must have a pizza with sausage . You have never had anything like it and you will never have anything better.

We get pizza here all the time. They are a little more than average on pizza prices but it's worth the extra couple of bucks. Round bar pizza is good and square is amazing too. We get half and half cheeses on the square so it's like having 2 separate pizza's in one. Their eggplant parm is also amazing. They... More

This is a small place with good pizza in a low tone establishment. You can go to the bar in front or eat in the rear dining room. The prices are very reasonable but the dining room is small and very dated from years past. t

The restaurant itself is way below todays standards but the food cannot be beat anywhere in the US! The pitza has not been duplicated by anyone. Best sauce, best cheese, never skimpy on the toppings. Their homemade bread is just that homemade deliciousness! Great antipasto, pasta, you name it. If you've grown up here you will always go back here... More

I grew up in the Pennsylvania coal regions near Hazleton where it is spelled "Pitza" and you have to know the difference between cheeses - scamutz or roman. This place has been a local favorite for decades and little has changed. It is small, with dated fixtures and furniture, and probably looks the same as it did in the 1940's.... More

I have been eating Senape's pitz for over sixty years. My favorite is with homemade meatballs. It is the first place we run to when returning to Hazleton.

Very dirty place . Service is hit and miss. Pizza used to be great now it is horrible, very garlicky and greasy . Place gets by on its reputation . Menus are dirty tables and salt and pepper shakers are sticky and all around gross. Can't believe the health dept. did not close this place down . Any doughts look... More

Been living in the area for about 5 years. Always been urged to go. I'm from New York and used to good pizza. Well, we went Saturday with good friends who are Hazleton natives. Was surprised how good it was!. We had an antipasti salad, a "snapatizer"pizza, and another sausage pizza. More than enough for the four us. Decor needs... More

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and every time, the food is excellent. The pasta is to die for and the Pitza is great! Everything on the menu is extremely inexpensive.
