I recently visited family in Hazleton.. Even when I went to Allentown to see family, I was told to bring pizza from Senapes.. It's a tradition in the area that will not disappoint. Great pizza and traditional Italian flavors. Go.

Senape Bakery pizza is as good as it gets. Eat it at room temperature right out of the box, more like a tomato pie than what most consider to be a pizza. The baked good are equally outrageously good. If visiting Hazleton area, pick up a box at most mini marts or go directly to the bakery where there are... More

This is not a restaurant but it is the best bakery anywhere with the best bread and rolls. You can purchase Snape's original cold cut PITSA as it is called. You can order a five foot long hoagie roll if you want to make your own party hoagie. Everything is baked fresh daily from a secret recipe. They are a... More

You have to try Senape's Pitz. Whenever any friends are in the area I make sure they bring home a box of Pitz for me.

Wonderful European style pastries such as poppyseed and nut rolls. We picked up some for breakfast. Delicious! Can't find this in the South.Worth the stop. Cash only but very reasonable.

We heard of Senape's by chance. We were stocking up at the local store for a weekend ski trip at Eagle Rock and started chatting with the cashier. As soon as I said "Hazelton" he immediately told me "Go to Senape's!" He explained there are two locations, but to get the Tomato Pie and eat it at room temperature. His... More

Anybody who has ever lived in Hazleton knows about Senape's and their very unique pizza--or as they say Pitza. The pizza is a thick crust pizza with sauce and very little cheese--the cheese is just sprinked on like a condiment. It is supposed to be eaten at room temperature. Any time that anyone from Hazleton visits a town outside of... More

Just recently visited Senape's after a round of golf in Hazleton area. My wife is originally from Hazelton so I knew she would love for me to bring some Pitza home for her. Besides the pitza I also brought home lekvar buns and a loaf of round Italian bread. Boy, did we have a feast that night. This has to... More

We read about Senape's online here on TripAdvisor and had to try their Pitza, very happy we did! The location is on a side street, looks like an old part of town, but we parked right on the road i front and had no issues. This is not a restaurant, a bakery with phenomenal baked goods. In addition to the... More
