My wife and I have been going to muggs on and off for 5 years but last week took the cake. We arrived about 8:30 p.m. starving since we didnt have any breakfast--the place was practically empty. We waited to be seated and not one staff member showed any work ethic to seat us. After a few minutes I finally... More

We were not sure about trying this because of the other reviews but it was close to our resort so we tried it. And we were glad we did! The waitress was accommodating and pleasant. It looked clean although in one corner it looked like the roof had leaked and there was some Plaster that needed fixing. The food was... More

Should of left as soon as we walked in....ceiling fans were disgusting, MUGGS on the wall don't look like they have been washed in years. Need to hire new wait staff, not congenial at all. Food could have been better.

My husband and I were looking for a place to have a casual lunch when we came across Muggs, looking like a simple, easy place to stop. We walked in and could easily see that the place was busy. The sign said to wait to be seated, and we did. We saw two waitresses and two busboys... we were never... More

We were a group of 12 out for a ride, it took about a 1/2 hour just to get some water, then another 15 or so min. to have someone take out order, than another 25 min. to get the food. 12 riders we asked for separate checks. She had to think about that for a while. We should have... More

Ok. So when the folks in front of us to be seated where looking around like they had been there forever, I should have followed my instincts and bolted. I mean the amount of time the bus boy and 2 waitresses walked by us without speaking or making eye contact... Anyway. We were seated ( oh yeah while we waited... More

I have been going to Muggs since they opened. Once we open our Pocono house we go there every other weekend from April through November. I have really enjoyed the food and service. But something changed this year. We went with friends. My friend who I admit is difficult asked for her omelet to be done light, without any brown.... More

We were there for a Sunday Breakfast. The coffee was at best fair. The breakfast mediocre. We ordered eggs , toast with butter on the side, and sausage. The sausage was good. The toast was dripping in melted butter and my poached eggs were not well cooked. We have been there twice and feel that there are better local choices... More

Five of us visited on Saturday May 9, the restaurant was close to being empty. Our order was placed and we waited about 20 minutes for our sandwiches to come out of the kitchen. The chili tasted like canned but the Tijuana sandwich was very good. We did notice that the restaurant was very dirty. The ceiling fans and emergency... More

Stopped by for a quick lunch after driving past it for years. Pleasantly surprised by the bright, fun atmosphere. The service slow but friendly. The food was not so great. My chili came from a can, the turkey club sandwich ok. The kids ate their burgers but not enough time to get the ice cream that came with their meal.... More
