Great view, great food high prices

Great view and the food comes in small portions but really good. The only problem is the prices are big city prices in small Hawley!! As you can tell I am a local. I did come from the city. Prices are still high for the serving sizes but the food is good. Be prepared to wait. Service can be slow.

Check out their menu on line, very different - sort of tapas and small plates with larger offerings. Food was excellent as was service. Wine list was comprehensive with wide range of prices.

We had dinner here during our weekend stay and had a wonderful experience. The small plates were delicious and our waiter was excellent. We ended our meal with the salted carmel brownie...insanely good! Great food and a gorgeous setting that is hard to beat. We'll definetely be back!

Third attempt- and last. As before, the food was a fine, but not great. the idea of smaller dishes still appeals, but the portions seem to be getting smaller with every visit. The service - alas, perhaps not quite the correct term because of the expectations that go with it? Mon Dieu!!! Given the consistently observed issues (by many reviewers)... More

Ok the prices are high like any large city would charge but for a PA location they should be lower. The restaurant is small but quite romantic with great views of the gorge. The portions are extremely small but are to be shared with whoever you are with. They have a ample menu of wine and beer to ascertain which... More

Spent a Friday night dinner here with my two sons and parents. Overall, a great experience and can't wait to go back again. Beautiful setting overlooking a waterfall on the deck and delicious food. Loved the small plates. We all decided to get something different on the menu and pass around the table to share. Not one bad dish!! All... More

Beautiful location, great staff but small (tapas) portions. Food was excellent but tiny. Very busy for a Saturday night in the spring (cooler weather) but staff was friendly and attentive.

View is astounding, bar too is on a slant so you have to watch your drinks so they don't slide off... ESPECIALLY if you have a dirty martini because there is an olive oil slick on top since they preserve their olives in olive oil??? Couldn't drink it... Won't come back for a martinis.

Second visit to Glass. Atmosphere and views are still great. Took a long time to get server's attention. Ordered a bottle of wine, which arrived after a reminder - and the starters. The servings seems to get smaller on every visit (there is a "small plate" and a "small plate"....). No complaints re quality of food - tastes great. Small... More

Let me start with the great. The view. To die for. The atmosphere. I just love. ...but It is so inconsistent. When they are on, my God it is great! But when they aren't.... The food: I hear there is a new chef aboard. Perhaps that will even out the food side. I love the menu concepts. The particular night... More
