Inn features farm-to-table which we enjoyed -- however, menu is limited and changes only once a week. We were limited to 5-6 choices over our 5 day stay.

My daughter suggested this restaurant while I was visiting her in Thompson, PA which resulted in about a 45 minute drive each way. The setting and atmosphere are very good and appropriate to the menu and the style of the associated inn. Service to the lobby seating area from the lobby bar could have been a little more efficient and... More

The atmosphere at Settler's is amazing. Cozy nights by the fire. A walk down by the river or Lake Wallenpaupack. Great service and amazing food. Couldn't ask for a better weekend getaway.

Very elegant dining room decorated in traditional style. Food was excellent -- we've gone back many times over the years, including for special occasions. Extensive wine and beer list. The food is quite creative within a traditional framework. Service is excellent. Try outdoor dining if the weather is good, though watch out for late afternoon sun coming in sideways into... More

I was taken here for my birthday. The staff was slow to seat us; and it appeared as if we waited forever for a wait-person, but once the food started coming...all that was forgotten. The grilled peach and blueberry salad was exquisite and the English Toffee Pudding (the restaurant's signature dessert dish) was the perfect complement to the meal. Being... More

Came with a group from a near-by campground area. We were so pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The setting and the ambiance were so charming. We sat inside but had a wonderful view of the gardens, which we visited after dinner. The food was delicious and well described. There were ample selections for vegetarians and carnivores and the desserts... More

This is probably my 4th or 5th visit to the Settlers Inn. The room and property have been upgraded substantially, and it still maintains its old world charm. The grounds are lovely, the furnishings are nice. I am a little perplexed by the very commercial toilets...they don't fit with the rest of the decor. I digress. The bar is nice,... More

Great food, great service in a beautifully restored home. The home was built in the early part of the 19th century and abandoned.

We arrived and were seated promptly. We are outside on the patio with a lovely view of the gardens. The waitress was excellent We started with fresh warm bread. My son-in-law had the Corn Bisque along with the Blueberry and Grilled Peach Salad. My daughter had the Trout and Baby Kale Salad w/Hazelnut Brittle (pictured below) and side of the... More

Had a very delightful brunch on the deck of the Settler's Inn. The menu had several unique items and our choices were of the highest quality. We also enjoyed wine and desserts which were out of this world!! I would highly recommend this restaurant !
