Fine dining in a comfortable environment.

I was away for a spa weekend with my best friend. Dinner at The Settlers Inn was the perfect way to end a relaxing day. Service and food were both awesome! My friend got the scallops and they were nicely seared but not well done. I had the braised short ribs…the meat fell off the bone and the... read more

As we drove into the front courtyard of this Inn we knew immediately we were in for a treat. It's a combination of English Tudor meets Craftsman and the outside of the building is flanked with gorgeous flowers. Walking in the door you immediately feel a friendly warmth like you have entered someone's living room. Couches and big easy chairs... More

Beautiful setting amidst the babbling brook, flowers galore, and covered deck dining. My very good friend and I, along with our husbands, celebrated our birthdays by having dinner at this unique restaurant. We originally wanted to do lunch but Settler's only does lunch on weekends. So we did dinner at 6pm on a Thursday. We were told when we made... More

We stopped at the Inn for breakfast, but were a few minutes past the 10 AM cutoff. We asked for another recommendation and left. While in the parking lot getting our bearings, the chef came out and apologized. He asked us to come back to have breakfast. And what a great breakfast we had!! This establishment is the benchmark of... More

Their smoked salmon avocado appetizer with watermelon salsa and wonton chips is incredible! Their restaurant experience was repeatedly excellent. Great, attentive staff. Very nice food and atmosphere. The celebrated our honeymoon with a complimentary amuse-bouche and champagne!

Food was okay, but pricey. Setting is lovely. Go there when you have time to relax and walk through the garden

The Settlers Inn has excellent food and a Victorian atmosphere. They also have a couple of different craft beers. It is defiantly a higher end place to stay or eat in the area.

We've been to Settlers Inn many times - this was to celebrate our Anniversary - and had a great experience once again. It was a chilly evening so we opted to eat in the dining room, which is beautifully decorated in the Craftsman style. Menu choices are limited but all sound mouth-watering. We opted for tasty Maryland oysters, a nice... More

Let me start by saying I'm a "local". I've been to the Settlers Inn many times, usually as a special treat. We planned for a couple of months to come here for Sunday brunch if we finished the AKC championships on two of our dogs. Happily, we accomplished the championships but sadly the celebration was ruined by the awful food... More
