Food was excellent, service good, tables are a little tight in the front section, but still a good time.
my wife and I have been coming here since the late 1980's. we come here on average twice a month. I think the food and service is excellent but the decor leaves a lot to be desired. Favorites include, steaks, any kind of duck(especially duck l'orange, the trout and escecially the rack of lamb that is enormous. The prices are... More
I try to support local businesses. Other reviews were right. The physical space is in dire need of a makeover. There was " no meat" available but still on the menu. With that said, I did enjoy my French onion soup. I am a fussy one about that! My entree of shrimp & scallops was tasty although the presentation could... More
Don't be put off by the exterior-wonderful food and service-perfectly paced dining experience- I try to go with 4 friends so we can have a chance to share various dishes
Tucked away on West Benedict Avenue in Havertown, PA is this wonderful BYOB eatery called Nias Cuisine. It is a dinner only restaurant open Sunday-Thursday 5-9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 5-9:30 p.m. The service is great, the décor oriental, the tables are dressed with nice cloths and the food is to die for. We visited on a weekend and... More
I have to agree with an earlier comment that it is time for Nais Cuisine to update both the venue and the menu! The dark atmosphere has to go! The pictures on the walls from 1980's and the music section are horrible. Nothing in the restaurant screams - FRENCH or ASIAN inspiration but does scream .. I'm dirty even if... More
This year's Dining Out is April 25 and for the third time in a row I hope my group goes to Nais. Along with donating a nice percentage of their income that evening, the food is so delicious, it's difficult to decide what to order. To spread the love around, we often share dishes like appetizers, salads and the like.... More
I have been going to Nais for almost 30 years, when the father opened the place in 1984/5. The food really is great. The ambiance is OK. The music is great and the wait staff is attentive and respectful, despite the tirade from a previous reviewer. I have gone to Nais with family/friends and always have gotten a great meal,... More

I have never had a bad meal here. The red wine duck is so delicious. The angel hair appetizer is so tasty. The salmon is unbelievable. Not to mention the 2 steak entrees they have. But really, this is worth the trip for the mushroom soup!!!
