Enjoyable Experience

Nais Cuisine is a store front restaurant on a side street in Havertown. It is surprisingly larger than it appears from the outside. Finding parking could be a problem. There is a open parking lot across from the restaurant, but was full when we went at about 6:30. We had to park on Darby Road... read more

Another jem in Havertown. I sometimes forget about this place. No idea why. The food has always been delicious. It's a BYOB and I have never been disappointed. I just have to stop in more often. Only set back it's next to the firehouse, and I have been there once when a fire call came in. It was ungodly loud... More

We live nearby, and have been going here for many years. This restaurant offers excellent value for money. As a BYOB place, you avoid the expensive drink prices common in Pennsylvania restaurants, because of high liquor taxes. You can't go wrong with the smoked trout mousse, cream of mushroom soup, or the filet mignon. The atmosphere is neo grim, but there... More

We stopped by for a respite Friday nite, and were not dissatisfied! The rainbow trout was excellent. The pear dessert, as usual, was superb. Music and candlelight atmosphere was delightful! Will return !

This Havertown institution advertises "French cuisine with an Asian flair". What we experienced was more like "Thai Diner". Our overpriced appetizers ($9) were immersed in sauces that completely drowned out any flavors. The duck entrees were well cooked and well priced, but again the sauces were overpowering and excessive. Our desserts were cheap ($5), but disappointing. None are made in... More

We have been going to this restaurants for years, but haven't gone recently. My husband planned a birthday dinner for me there with family and friends. As in the past, The food was great, and the service was terrific. We asked if we could sit in the little room in the front of the restaurant, and we were the only... More

This restaurant is supposed to be French and thaï fusion. This is more a fusion between bad and foul. The meat smelled foul in the lamb curry and my stomach is sick for having tried it. Ravioli appetizers were swimming in an ugly sauce. The duck was dried and too sweet. Sorry for the friends who brought us there but... More

Great, reliable BYOB restaurant with outstanding, reasonably priced menus selections. I had to feed five important guests on short notice on Friday, one with a birthday! We called Nais Cuisine, got a quiet table and fabulous service. Two guests ordered the duck and loved it. I got the filet and my son got the sirloin. Both dishes were incredible--better than... LOVE this restaurant. Food is sooo good. Got engaged here, had my rehearsal dinner here. My husband and I go as often as we can for date nights. Love it. Filet with wine sauce is fabulous. French onion soup is to die for. :) There have been some updates. New comfortable chairs. Everything is very clean. BYOB.

Of all the restaurants in the greater Phila. area this is the 1 place my wife and I have probably dined at more than any other over the past 30 years since it opened. It is a true neighborhood "gem". Recently spruced up a bit with more comfortable padded seats (definitely an improvement over the hard wood chairs) and with... More
