First Time Not Disappointed

My wife and I and another couple recently had dinner at Benihana and we were very please with the service, quality and quantity of food. Our waiter was very attentive. And of course we enjoyed our chef preparing our goof. He was very good. Only one drawback was the background noise which was pretty... read more

We come every year for our birthday celebration and have never been disappointed.... until today. We were sat at a table with Scruffy McBeardson and his gf. They took our order promptly and the chef came out with his Magical Cart of Wonders. The chef proceeded to cook as if he was at home in his kitchen. Now to be... More

Went there last night 6-13-15 for dinner. This restaurant was one of our friends wishes for his bucket list. He never ate there before and wanted to try it. We went, table not ready yet and had a drink at the bar. A vodka tonic and two sangria's. Very small glasses, mostly ice. They were not bad until I paid... More

I thought the whole deal about going to Benihana was the 'show' the chefs put on while preparing your food. I was pretty disappointed in realizing the 'show' is only at the very beginning for a few seconds and then a few seconds more when he did the 'volcano'; that was it. Which makes the price a bit high if... More

Six of us had dinner. The service was good. The sushi and our dinner was very good. Cocktails were kind of expensive. Overall the place is very expensive for what you get. It cost us approximately $100 per person with cocktails appetizer and dinner.

Kind of a disappointing evening out for my birthday. The food was good, not great. Our "table" smelled of gas. Next time I'll save some serious cash and hit a different hibachi restaurant. I guess you're paying for a name, but it's not worth it. And to top it off, their camera was broken, so no free photo of the... More

We went for dinner and were surprised by the quality of service and really better than average food. I had the hibachi steak and my husband had the shrimp. Either one a great choice. Fresh crisp veggies with white or fried rice, entrees come with soup and salad.

Benihanna always has excellent food. It's always fresh. Service is great. Food preparation is excellent. This never changes. I have been eating at this restaurant over the last 40 years. Great any time. Their dishes are consistently good whenever you eat there. It's a good place to take friends and relatives to for special occasions or just a nice place... More

My wife and I enjoy taking our kids to a hibachi restaurant on occassion, as a desirable alternative to the typical family establishment and chain restaurant. We found the experience at Benihana to be average, at best, when compared to other similar restaurants. The prices, though, were 10-20% higher than typical. I had never visited a Benihana before; I doubt... More

I hadn't been to a Benihana's in at least twenty years. I remember it very fondly and of course was wondering if time would have taken a toll on the brand. I can assure you it did not. The chef was personable and entertaining and created an onion volcano that truly impressed. The food of course was superb and presented... More
