For an average week night, and for being 10:40 when we were seated, there is no reason why my meal should have taken 45 minutes to cook, to then be served cold. When I complained to the manager, he responded with "Oh well, better luck next time." Don't worry sir; there won't be a next time. Right across the street... More

when I worked in the area years ago this was the meeting place for breakfast. I was having breakfast here on 9/11 and it's been a number of years since I've been back. Breakfast is actually better than it was then and other than too many televisions this is a great place.

unfortunately the decor wasn't reflected in the food, during our visit. The location of the Capital Diner was perfect -- walking distance from our hotel (Red Roof Inn). The menu is varied, with many choices. We were a party of 6 and everyone had something different. Everyone's meal was only lukewarm and the waitress was as uninterested as possible about... More

This diner has a large varied menu, great for a breakfast or lunch. I've never been there for dinner so cannot comment. The staff is friendly and makes the experience an enjoyable one. My coworkers and I go there frequently for lunch.

We found this place while we were staying at the holiday inn just down the road. it is a fine diner, nothing special; but good sandwiches and appetizers. I had the mozzarella sticks, my friends had a ruben sandwich and a cheese steak. All were pleased. they serve beer, their wine selection is quite thin. If you are looking for... More

Stopping by this diner was a good choice. The food was tasty and hot. I enjoyed the oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar. But if you have a sweet tooth their sticky buns will cure that. The staff was friendly and helpful with direction. I will be sure to return here again

I stopped in while staying overnight to catch a plane. The Broasted chicken was perfect, moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Don't see Broasted chicken that often on a menu so it was a treat the salad and sides were nothing special but the service was good and the place was nice and clean and cheery. Good... More
