Unexpected chic off 3rd Street in downtown Harrisburg. Likes: Olives & bread. Off-menu specials (roasted figs with goat cheese; steak Robespierre) were intriguing and delightful. Two drinks - the Firefly (with house-made habanero-infused tequila) and Smoky Mountain Sipper (with a "moonshine" floater") - were tasty, not palate-killing. [The Smoky Mountain Sipper had a light vanilla aftertaste, reminiscent of Basil Hayden,... More

My friend and I met for a recent lunch at Mangia Qui. There appear to be a lot of capitol hill employees there since it is situated within viewing distance of the Pennsylvania's state capitol. I ordered the Mozzarella in carozza which is a fancy name for tomato basil soup and an accompanying cheese puff. The dish was fresh, appealing... More

Very attentive service. Had the "market plate" which was caponata and pesto and veggies plus grilled bread. Delicious and beautifully presented. Staff was very attentive and professional. Highly recommend.

I've been to Mangia Qui multiple times and have enjoyed it. The oysters are fantastic and brunch is always great! Make a reservation and go!

Mangia Qui is by far one of the best - if not the best - restaurants in Harrisburg. And before you laugh too loud, you should know that there are a lot of really good restaurants in the Capital City these days. The food is always creative and exceptional. Is it expensive - yes. But my motto in almost all... More

I dine here for lunch on occasion and have always had great service. The food is delicious and unique. The last time I was there, my dining companion had the grilled cheese and tomato soup (which she said was amazing). I had the chicken salad (made with horseradish, but just a touch, and it was perfect)! I like the feel... More

We went to Mangia Qui at the request of a cousin and his wife. They seemed to know and like the restaurant. I wasn't as impressed. Was the food good? Yes. But they failed when it comes to being overpriced to the point of being showy. We ordered the calamari in squid ink pasta. It was very, very good. We... More

I love this place. The food is always good if not great. I've always had attentive and friendly servers. I'm shocked by some if the other reviews on here. How can one say they will not return based on "rumors" or name calling just because the servers have to ask if you prefer bottled water (I drink tap) or want... More

It's a shame because the food itself is okay and the servers are friendly enough but it's the behind the scenes that really devalue the place. I have heard horror stories about the owner and how she treats the kitchen staff like slaves. A restaurant with such "quality" (high prices) should have well paid back of house workers, from those...
