Nice Midtown spot

I have eaten here several times at lunch. The service is relatively smooth and the food is very good. I ordered the California turkey burger. It was a turkey burger with avocado and stuffed with cheese. They have a deck on the roof that is open when the weather is nice. Definitely a good option... read more

Visited the Speakeasy for Sunday brunch. Seated inside after a minimal wait by an enthusiastic gentleman. The waitress waited on us about five minutes after being seated. She brought our drinks, my cranberry juice was weak. I Ordered eggs Benedict and corned beef hash. My partner ordered surf & turf Benedict & granola yogurt. The wait began. Finally the meal... More

Definitely a place I wanted to like, but the experience speaks for itself. Slow service, average wait staff and very small food portions for the price. The food can be composed and creative, and plenty tasty, but Harrisburg is a blue collar town without a high average household income... not sure I understand their cost to portion ratios. Average pub,... More

The food was great, we got five different things and spilt them amongst us. The Vinson quiche was amazing, as was the banana foster french toast. Washed down with mimosas and Troges beer. I'm a happy person.

Excellent selection on the menu, with a cross between bar food and full entrees. The bar offers an excellent selection of drinks. It's a little noisy, but a small price to pay for this gem! Try the loaded tots!!

We both had the sea bass special and it was fantastic. The fish was well done and the sauce complimented it, along with the seasoned red potatoes and asparagus. Laurel was our server and was great. We didn't feel rushed but she was there whenever we needed something. Will definitely go back. FYI on parking- Harrisburg has gone to meter... More

Was in town for a midday show and wanted to do Sunday Brunch. After seeing good reviews on here, we decided to give it a try and it was well worth it. Good mix of people, and the place was full, but not packed too much. The brunch choices were great with a good mix for almost any taste. The... More

This place has been renovated from a dive bar, which was actually very fun, and I was worried that they would make it overly posh. They avoided that and retained the charm of the location and kept a really fun crowd and bartenders. The food is quite salty and heavy, but it is a great place to catch up with... More

During our one night in Harrisburg, we wanted a casual place to grab a good burger and beer after exploring some of the history of the city. We also wanted somewhere we could easily walk from where we were staying and based on reviews decided to give Sturges a try. It was a Wednesday late afternoon, so we caught some... More

I was in the area with some friends looking for a place to eat and stumbled across this place. It is small but homey. The bartender is amazing. Great beer selection and the good was out of this world. I would go again if I'm ever in the area!
