Favorite!!

This is a place we visit a couple of times a month! It's perfect for a cozy meal... Or just to sit at the bar for a small plate. Food is always creative and "fun". On top of that, service is playful and never intrusive! I would recommend trying it out if you haven't yet!!

We had a delicious brunch at this small restaurant a couple of blocks off the waterfront. Exceptional sausage (made as a meatball, with maple syrup and brown sugar overtones) and the freshest eggs I can remember. We prefer their outdoor patio, though it was full this visit. Reservations recommended for this find!

Pros: menu ambience staff. Cons: Parking Go, especially with a date. Lunch special was unique but very tasty. Looking at others plates showed that they had lots of good choices!

Small booths and little atmosphere belie fairly good food. One of our party's steak was only look warm, but the fish special was well prepared. Staff was courteous, but there must have been a lot of regulars about whom they seemed more excited.

Delicious local food. A bit salty but still good. Parking is not convenient so plan for some extra time. So many delicious options!

I made a reservation with ease. There are two doors to enter the restaurant. Seating is found upfront, back patio, and inside (bar and a restaurant side). Ambience is casual laid back. I was greeted by the friendly host and bartender upon my arrival. I was given an option for seating indoor or outside. I caught a day where foot... More

Attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff guided us through the menu. Started with the Bees Knees gin cocktail. Refreshing on a summer day. Cheese board with home made fig newton type bars, fresh honeycomb and a rhubarb spread. Excellent. Pierogies we really tender, oniony and very tasty. Tomato soup...spot on. For dinner grilled lamb with polenta. Wow. Don't miss dessert...they are all... More

Service was top notch. The menu had many creative items and one could tell that a lot of thought went into it. That is what lead us to order several sharing plates, so we could try more of those enticing our options. We ordered the buffalo chicken meatballs, deviled egg trio, and the mac & cheese. The meatballs (you get... More

My family recently had dinner at Home 231 and it was terrific. This was our second time to this place. Our first time was several years ago with a larger group of people and we had a very nice meal, but really wasn't on our radar to return. We had a good experience, but just never went back until recently,... More
