My husband and I drove down for a weekend of shopping. We decided to try out Elephant and Castle because the name intrigued us. We sat down at the bar and had drinks while we checked out the menu. The bartenders the whole weekend we're awesome. We usually try out new drinks and the bartenders had so much fun with... More

place was very busy but we were still seated on arrival. Good selection of English style meals along with some traditional meals. Service was fast and the food was hot when served. Try one of their desserts they have and be prepared to share because the size is larger than normal. Excellent selection of beers. It can be very noisy... More

We had to 30 minutes to be seated otherwise this the staff were friendly and service was fast. Our table ordered the pot pie, quiche, bangers and mash, irish stew and fish and chips .... All great pub fair. The local hotel gave us a discount card which was an added bonus.

This was across the street from our hotel and the "theme" was interesting to us to try. They are a English inspired pub and we were a little disappointed that the beer selection did not reflect that, so we had regular beer from here. The menu was good with alot of variety and we tried two of the English dishes... More

I decided to try this place out based on some rave reviews this restaurant received from my family. I was not disappointed. I tried the Yorkshire Pudding. It was so good, with the exception that it could've used a little more gravy. My brother got the ranch bacon pizza which I tried. It was up there with some of the... More

Menu had plenty of standard items for the non-adventurous but also had many unique offerings which we tried and liked. Can walk to outlets from this restaurant.

I had the salmon which was lovely. It was served over plain dry rice with over done plain broccoli. I asked for the peanut butter pie to go. I took it back to my motel and put it in the refrigerator for later. When I opened the box there was a blob of chocolate with crumbs on the top. I... More

Perhaps I am old-fashioned, but television and loud music do not say "meal time" to me. Elephant & Castle does not offer either of these, I feel thankful to say (though they do have a tv at the bar -- it doesn't show elsewhere). They do provide a good selection of pub-style and traditional fare, an expansive bar menu (if... More
