We visited La Vita's with friends who had been there before, and who had mentioned to us that the owner was a bit feisty. Armed with this knowledge, we arrived at our reserved time and were seated; we expected a brusque reception and brisk but indifferent service. What we received was a delightful evening with a clearly busy but charming... More

This restaurant is not fancy but the food is absolutely delicious. It reminds me of the small family run Italian restaurants that you search for when in Italy. Rose is so accommodating and is able to prepare anything that you want to eat. She has her menu for the day, but with advance notice, she will specially prepare what you... More

We have been here multiple times, and the food without question was great. The problem is that she prefers you to make reservations which seems like no big deal, but..... First off, she isn't very friendly on the phone. Next, they do not have a website, so the menu is basically a picture taken and uploaded. Lastly, the place is... More

That Rose is fabulous! Not only is her food outstanding but she takes the time to get to know her customers!

La Vita's was just terrific. Small place which we liked. We were 14 people in total and had veal piccata, shirmp scampi, veal parm, eggplant parm, calamari, salad and bread. All equally fantastic. Roseann was very lovely and accommodating to my daughter who is gluten free. Wonderful celebration for my daughters college graduation from St. Vincent's with awsome food. Wish... More

It started out by having tickets for a 7:30 PM show at a local theater. We needed a place for dinner within walking distance. We called La Vita's to make a reservation and got a brisk recorded message. A few days later, the call was returned in the same brisk manner. We were then advised to order ahead for any... More

So refreshing to eat home cooked, spectacular old world food in an unpretentious environment. Rosann (owner) made us feel like we were eating in her home as invited guests. So relaxed. Not rushed. Everything served in family-style platters. Started with sautéed peppers & cheese, a scrumptious, fresh salad, & great bread. Then chicken piccata with artichokes, fried eggplant Parmesan, &... More

Just got back from La Vita's with the family. The delicately breaded chicken and artichokes melted in my mouth and left me wanting to eat the entire dish myself!!! Linguini in a tasty, light oil sauce with peas was the perfect pairing and left me wanting more. I am absolutely addicted to Rose's salad - her vinaigrette dressing has the... More

We had a group of 8 and it was the tastiest food I've had in a while. Rosanne is a very high energy person. We all thought the food was excellent! Can't wait to go back again!!

My co worker recommended this cozy spot in Greensburg as good Italian. Needless to say, he did not disappoint! Excellent food. Suspect atmosphere, but later learned it was a home they had in their family for years. BYOB. I had the chicken parm which was honestly the best I have ever had. Great Value, excellent food. Will definitely be back.
