Great Atmosphere and service

Our first visit and the service staff were excellent! They were very friendly and accommodating. My dish was a bit over cooked but the flavor itself was delicious. When they asked us about our meal and we told them our feelings, they were apologetic and offered us a free desert. I would likely go... read more

Was visiting friends in the area and we went to the Pinehurst Lodge for dinner - it was an absolute amazing experience! I live in Michigan and travel for a living so have eaten at many different local type of restaurants like this and I have to say that this place had an impeccable menu, atmosphere and service. Top recommendations... More

I had seen this restarunt featured on Restaraunt Impossible a while back. While on vacation we planned to see it and give it a try in person. What a charming place with a very friendly staff. Even more impressive was the meal and drinks we enjoyed. I orderd the skirt steak with mask potatoes and carrots. It was so tender... More

the only thing I can say the service was good... The food was real bad for a place to have burgers on menu and not have any is pretty bad, they took salad bar out. The french onion soup tasted like they put 10 pound of sugar in it, been coming here for 30+ years will never go back.

We have been visiting the Pocono Mountains for a long time and we always passed the Pinehurst on our way to Lackawaxen but we never thought to stop in for a bite to eat until we saw them featured on Restaurant Impossible. We have visited numerous times. The staff, service and the food is wonderful. The chicken sliders are a... More

We were fortunate to have had our thanksgiving dinner at the Pinehurst. The drive there was a winter wonderland setting the scene for a delightful time. When we arrived we were greeted with smiles and happy thanksgiving. The dining room was charming and clean. The service was impeccable. Our food was beyond delicious seriously I have not had such a... More

We are from Philadelphia and have been to a lot of high end restaurants and this place definitely holds their own among them. We were delighted by the food, the service, and the price for the amount of food we got! Highly recommended but it's not a big place so get there early or get a reservation.

This is a old fashioned country inn, updated without losing it's charm. The food tends towards good simple ingredients, well prepared and well presented. There is a salad bar for nibbling and side dishes. Sometimes there is a guitarist who will play oldies on request. We have dined there several times and have never been disappointed by the food, the... More

A wonderful meal at Pinehurst. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the strip steak which was very juicy and done to perfection.

We had been wanting to try this out since seeing it on the TV Show Restaurant Impossible . Our server Kristen was fabulous! She was friendly and outgoing ! The salad bar was ok. I was glad to see craisins as an option. Missed my russian dressing as an option. It was limited but fresh. I ordered the prime rib... More
