Good food, fun atmosphere

They offer two sizes of shakes, kid's size (which is enough) and regular (which is huge). The regular shake could definitely be split. The food is tasty and they offer bottomless fries. The train that travels around the ceiling makes it a fun place for kids.

This was our first visit to Ruby's Diner. Everyone was nice and greeted us when we walked through the door. The food was very good, however, the server seemed preoccupied and distracted. When we couldn't make a decision about what we wanted she seemed as little irritated when she returned. We will definitely go back but do not want the... More

We ate here around 3:30 today, i had a blue cheese cheese burger with onion rings & a coke. Bernadette Connus had a cheeseburger with fries and a coke. $25+ - guess the days of a cheap hamburger are over :) Good meal, BUT with all the lettuce, "special Ruby's sauce'' the roll falls apart soaked with juice.... We will... More

I visit Ruby's Diner frequently. Why..cause my kids like it. I would say the food is average. It is pretty much similar to all other chain restaurants. You are not going there for a gourmet meal but a meal. If you are looking for a real diner..this is not the place to go but if you are looking for a... More

We stopped here after visiting the trampoline place. Service was ok. Our server was very nice but I had to wait a while to track her down to get a refill on my soda. The burgers were pretty big for the standard size and very good. Note all milkshakes are made with vanilla ice cream. We would go back

My kids love this place. It's a great place when you don't want fast food, but maybe Applebees is too long of a wait with little ones. This is not fine dinning. But, it's a nice middle ground for eating out with young kids. I've really never had a bad meal. Salads, sandwiches, and burgers are all good. Shakes are... More

Basic diner food, but tasty. If you are having a craving for a milkshake, this is the place to go. My daughter and I went for lunch looking forward to their homemade milkshakes. I had caramel and my daughter ordered a peanut butter shake. We were both happy with our choices and our shakes. Waitress was friendly and service was... More

My husband and I and our friend ate at Ruby's Diner on New Year's night. We did not have to wait long to be seated. The atmosphere is fun with a couple of train tracks hanging from the ceiling and an operating train. It was a little noisy but that didn't bother us. The menu seemed kind of small for... More

Our order included the fish tacos and a chicken sandwich but they had no taste. Food could be improved.

Cute Johnny Rockets decor, young waitresses in short skirts (clustered in the service area checking cell phone messages), average food horrendously overpriced. While I was eating breakfast several of us had to walk around to find wait staff to bring forgotten essentials.
