Very nice lunch

I have not been to a Dutch Kitchen in forty years and made it a point to stop by to have lunch. The food has not changed in years. Be advised this is not for the dietary set. It was a lot fried foods and thick gravies and what I was in the mood for that afternoon. I started off... read more

All veggies are canned and for the price of a tiny piece of dessert pie that comes frozen in box from a restaurant delivery service. Homemade it. is definitely not. Thrown in oven after taken out of freezer. Food sits in heat line inserts from 8am to close. Mrs T's pierogies not home made. Everything gets microwaved at some point.... More

Stopped during our traveling for breakfast. I had an omelette and my husband had the Delmonico steak. Food was up quickly and served with a smile. Always looking to support a mom and pop place. Would not say spectacular, but decent breakfast. Would not go out of our way to stop here again.

When looking to write up this restaurant on Tripadvisor I note that there are two Dutch Kitchens reviewed, and one appears to be more famous than the other but I think they are the same place. Regardless, if you have a chance to go there while passing through Frackville, you will not be disappointed. The restaurant looks like an old... More

This restaurant once had a great reputation for pierogy and blinis. Pierogies should be pan fried with diced onions. The ones here came out dry and bloated. No way were these pan fried. The potato pancakes looked like they came from a roll of potatoes. They should be made by grating potatoes. These were not.

Breakfast was good, great cup of coffee that stayed full my whole visit. Should have asked about potatoes when asked home fries or hash browns, not used to red skin potatoes prefer regular thin sliced. Will order hash browns next time. Loved the small town feel. Greeted warmly by the cook (of all people) first. Loved her smile. Servers were... More

The Dutch Kitchen is consistent - every time we go, it's delicious. Their turkey salad sandwich is really good, and today we shared a piece of coconut meringue pie that was wonderful. I would have given it 5 stars today, but when we arrived we were the ONLY people in the dining room and the two servers were more interested... More

We have stopped for lunch or dinner on our trips thru this area of PA for several years. We have never been disappointed. There are a wide range of options on the menu, and everything we have ordered has been delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking in an adjacent parking lot. Prices are reasonable.... More

Whenever we are up Frackville way, we stop in for dessert. We have had good meals here, but it has become our snack on the way back home. My fave is the banana nut cake...made fresh most days. I always top it with Leiby's ice cream, preferably maple walnut, yum! My husbands pumpkin pie was quite tasty! P.S. The decor... More
