Good dinner friendly staff

Stopped here in the way north. 5 of us (2 kids and 3 adults) I had the Meatloaf dinner with Mashed Potatoes. It was very good. Desert was blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream. My wife had the burger and she said it was good including a homemade bun. Her desert was the banana cake. Basically banana... read more

The service was pleasant, the ambiance fine, and the food more than usually good for a diner - a turkey sandwich made with good meat, not the delicatessen variety, with a hot gravy on top. A good place to stop on route 81, where most of the restos are fast food places.

First the people. Eric and Christy are a hoot. They are dating and you gotta ask em when they are tying the knot. Service was good and they were great conversationalists. Further, he got us stuff that wasn't on the menu. Regarding the food. It's breakfast so it's hard to go wrong. Get the BLEENIES as your starch. They are... More

We found this place by accident. It's a typical diner but they do have a huge dining room in the back. Our sandwiches were good and quickly delivered. The server was a little cranky but we did roll in at the end of lunch so maybe she was slammed earlier.

We stopped in here half-way through a long trip on I81. The food was pretty good - we both had fish and it arrived quickly. My flounder was a bit undersalted but was otherwise well-cooked. We came with our baby daughter and there was plenty of space for a high chair. The service was very good and speedy, which is... More

Whenever my husband and I travel through this area we stop at the Dutch Kitchen....we lovingly call it "Mom's". We have had a few home cooked meals here, but delight in the homemade desserts. Today I had the banana cake with maple nut (Leiby's) ice cream. My husband had cheese cake with strawberries. Delish! We always have delightful waitresses. I... More

Ate there on a Friday evening and had read yelp reviews about their amazing salad bar and delicious bread.....but we didn't have either one! The salad bar is now a display for products they have for sale and we were never offered bread, nor were 3 of the 4 tables surrounding us, finally a table of "regulars" arrived and bread... More

when I did the last survey I gave the wrong name. The restaurant I ate at and enjoyed was the Dutch Kitchen in Frackville, Pennsylvina. I ate dinner there and the next morning I ate breakfast . GREAT MEALS both times.

Stopped in here as a lunch break from I-81 travel. An unassuming place on the main drag of a clearly declining town. Restaurant on the outside, diner style on the inside but there is a nice dining room if you prefer. We just had sandwiches but they were really good (except for the French fries which were soggy and to... More
