Not Tourist Trap Crap, the REAL THING!

Ok, you can go to crappy tourist trap like Gino's or Pat's for a minor excuse for a cheese-steak. If you want a REAL cheese-steak come to Anna's. The steak is thin shaven and fried before your very eyes. The onions are fresh, the cheese melted amongst the massive amount of steak is incredible... read more

The breakfast sandwiches are great I grew up on them. The service is touch and go. If it is your first time don't get rubbed the wrong way, the place is use to 99% of customers being regulars. The place is also cash only so check your wallet before you go.

When we have group meetings or small parties, we always make a quick trip to Anna's. You can't swing a cat in this area of Delco without hitting a sandwich shop, pizza joint, or fast food eatery. I've tried them all and when I don't want to be disappointed or have to make excuses to the folks that will be... More

Sandwiches are the best.Breakfast sandwiches are one of a kind, and for lunch it's either the cheese steak or an Italian hoagie with fried hots.

Huge amounts of meat can barely stay in the roll. Tasty onion rings too. Only takes cash and closes early, at 8 pm.

When I think about Anna's, I start drooling. Absolutely the ... best ... hoagies ... ANYWHERE. Soft rolls, quality deli meats and cheeses sliced fresh for each sandwich. Add toppings and oil. Yummmm. When my grandmother - who lived around the corner from Anna's - would visit us in New York, she knew she was not allowed in the house... More

I had to give this place all 5's. The place is old and dingy but reminds me of the local steak shop growing up. The cheesesteak I had was excellent. The small was on a 12 inch roll, packed with meat. The onions were cooked to perfection. This was one of the best steaks I've eaten inthe tri-state area in... More

I hope writing this review isn't a mistake. For selfish reasons I don't want Anna's to get too crowded. But, I must write a rebuttal. I just finished watching a Food Network show about Philadelphia's legendary cheesesteak rivals -- Pat's and Geno's. I once fell prey to the hype and tried them. Never again. Forget the crowds, the long lines... More
