What can I say....I have been 'wolfing down' Charlie's Burgers for over fifty {50} years now, and since I was down in Delco on bizziness, I thought to meself, "WHY NOT!?!" Well, let me start off by saying it had been years since I last was there and you know what, SORRY, but it just ain't the same, Charlie...!?! I... More

Great place for a quick bite! Milkshakes and burgers are awesome. Service is quick and the staff is friendly.

Over priced cardboard between hamburger buns. Hamburger patties couldn't get any thinner. Also highly expensive. The place has definitely changed not for the better over the years. Good milkshakes but once again over priced.

Yesterday we drove from home which is 34.7 miles 45-60 minutes drive for the best Burgers in the Philadelphia area. Always great tasting, friendly service. I always have two Cheeseburgers and wife has one, we both had small Pepsi's. $11.00 Quick service, $2.90 a burger may seem high for people brought up on McDonald's meatless burgers, but well worth it.... Don't even need to say too much. One of the best places to get a burger in the Philly suburbs, if you're in the area I highly recommend you stop and try them. Great burgers and great shakes. My mom use to take me here as a child and it's still as good as it was back then!

Where: Charlie's Hamburgers, Folsom, PA
What: Charlie's Double Cheeseburger
Build: Fantastic old-fashioned burger mashed on flat grill with American cheese, finely diced raw onion and dill pickle slices on a perfectly toasted buttered bun with salt & pepper. Comments: I read an article the other day on how the McDonald's Big Mac came to pass. A guy by the name... More

I am shocked to read the review that the burgers at Charlies are not good or that they are tasteless. I would love to know where they consider to be the best burgers. There is nothing fancy about Charlie's, it is a no-frills kind of place all the way. If you don't know about it, you wouldn't even notice it.... More

The service is friendly and the place is busy with locals, but seriously?...the burgers are truly not very good. They are really tasteless and there are 2 other burger joints nearby that would wipe them up in a blindfolded taste contest. People must just keep coming for nostalgic reasons.

I can't say I'm impartial or objective. I grew up eating burgers at Charlie's long before fast food places even existed. In fact I even knew the original owner (so yes that makes me over sixty). But I can honestly say that these burgers are still the best. Yes, they are small. I remember my father's admonition:"Don't take a big... More
