Amazing sophistication, taste, and value in this wonderful location and country inn. We were so pleased with the inventive cocktails, great fresh salads from the property's farm, and foodie main course. Afterward, the owner suggested a littler stroll around the property, which we greatly enjoyed on a beautiful summer's evening. Although urban dwellers for many decades now, the whole experience... This place was unbelievable! We went in the winter when we could take advantage of the in-room hot tub (and I don't mean one of those bathtub deals) and fireplace. The complex is a converted farm with all of the buildings creatively remodeled. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious, as well as cozy. The restaurant was fabulous. We ate there... More

We truly enjoyed our meal at the Glasbern Inn. For the first time ever we tried a zucchini flower as an appetizer. It was so delicious. Everything had such a good flavor. Many of the foods and animals are raised and grown on the property!!! Breakfast was excellent too. I liked how they had a buffet while you were waiting... More

I had a limited view of the place, but what I did experience is making me look forward to returning as a "regular" guest to give the place a full review.. The food I had was very good, and the service was friendly and helpful. Nice place in a pretty area.

Chef provided a complimentary sweet seared scallop with a pairing of salty crisp pancetta on a bed of raw kale. Yum. I had the Med Trio as an appetizer with a not too tangy, just perfect olive tapenade, a rather mild hummus, and a creamy red pepper goat cheese with crisp pita. Yes, I ordered meat loaf. It stuck out... More

The food was good and the service as well. A little disappointed in the number of menu choices but overall it was quite good.

This was our first time at the Glasbern. We did not stay at the inn only ate at the restaurant. Walking into the restaurant was very inviting. The large open dining room was very nice and spacious with large windows and a fireplace. Our server was very nice and attentive. Our food was delicious, from starter, to entrée, to dessert.... The food is delicious, service is the best, all in a gorgeous rustic setting. Dinner is a bit pricey, but well worth it as an occasional treat. The breakfast selection is amazing and a great value, although only available to guests of the Inn. My suggestion? Stay there. You'll be so glad you did!

We went on a Sunday evening at 6. I believe there were only two tables there other than us. We had a new server who didn't seem to know what he was doing. Luckily his "shadow" was much better. Hate to pay so much for dinner only to be used as a guinea pig. Years ago, the response to a... More
