Don't bother going here!

I sent my dinner back as it was inedible! The salad was old and droopy and the meat was cold and tough. Calling their food Italian is a misnomer! It is just bad!

Scoogi's has a great bar with a wide selection of appetizers. You can make a meal out of their appetizers. Or, you could go into the dining room and have a wonderful italian meal. I think they may be a little pricey on the dining room side, but you will get a good meal. They have a Monday lunch special... More

Friday nights are good for live music with a delicious dinner! I always enjoy my meal at Scoogi's; Good food for a reasonable price. Friday nights I come over to eat and listen to Chris Page play guitar and sing; Great night out!

Made a resevervation for my first visit here for dinner. The bartenders are hopping nd make very good drinks. This is where good ends. We were shown to our table for dinner and then asked to pay a cover charge. I thought they were kidding. They asked me if i had been told when I made the reservation and I... More

We have been going to this place for years and the food was always decent. BUT, The last few times it has been getting worse. Well we went last night and will never return. My pizza was burnt on the crust and the middle was raw(It takes a lot to ruin a pizza). My daughters Sliced beef Caprese was terrible... More

For a place that bills itself as a nice Mama/Papa Italian restaurant, it tastes to me like someone booted Mama out of the kitchen long ago. Not sure if that is true,,,but the food was quite undistinguished. The Ravioli was bland. The meatballs were average and the sauce was runny and lacked the subtle elegance of good down-home Italian cooking.... More

I was hesitant to try Scoogi's (haven't been there for over 20 years) because of the negative reviews on TripAdvisor. We were meeting friends who eat there all the time. I really don't know what the bad reviews are about because everything we had was delicious. It's not a fancy Italian restaurant but you also won't pay the fancy prices.... More

We last went to this restaurant over 15 years ago and stopped by early evening for dinner. That was a mistake! In hindsight, I should have known when there was only one other party in the restaurant. Also, I should have known better because there were no seniors in the restaurant given they had a 3-course special for $35. The... More

I booked this for a funeral luncheon for a beloved nephew who passed suddenly; this restaurant was open Mondays and not far from the cemetery, two criteria we had. Frankly, nothing else fit the bill because parking was also essential. I had no prior experience with this restaurant so was hoping everything worked out well because after the emotional roller... I've been privvy to some great Italian food over my lifetime, and you can't get any better Italian food from a restaurant than from what you'll experience at Scoogi's in Flourtown! What is also wonderful about the restaurant is that you can get something as simple as an Italian hoagie or elaborate as Chilean Seabass and at either end of... More
