I was hesitant to try Scoogi's (haven't been there for over 20 years) because of the negative reviews on TripAdvisor. We were meeting friends who eat there all the time. I really don't know what the bad reviews are about because everything we had was delicious. It's not a fancy Italian restaurant but you also won't pay the fancy prices.... More

We last went to this restaurant over 15 years ago and stopped by early evening for dinner. That was a mistake! In hindsight, I should have known when there was only one other party in the restaurant. Also, I should have known better because there were no seniors in the restaurant given they had a 3-course special for $35. The... More

I booked this for a funeral luncheon for a beloved nephew who passed suddenly; this restaurant was open Mondays and not far from the cemetery, two criteria we had. Frankly, nothing else fit the bill because parking was also essential. I had no prior experience with this restaurant so was hoping everything worked out well because after the emotional roller... I've been privvy to some great Italian food over my lifetime, and you can't get any better Italian food from a restaurant than from what you'll experience at Scoogi's in Flourtown! What is also wonderful about the restaurant is that you can get something as simple as an Italian hoagie or elaborate as Chilean Seabass and at either end of... More

This is not a traditional Italian anything! Over priced with bad service! I would not recommend to anyone.

Food was delicious when I met my friend for lunch. Quiet enough so that we could catch up, wasn't rushed and food was wonderful. In the winter a seat by the fireplace is prime seating.

Scoogi's was a nice place to take the kids. However the food was average. In our party of five some food was really delicious and other foods could use some help. My pasta was sticky and undercooked. Mushroom bruschetta was excellent though. I think what really disturbs me the most was that the owner/manager was walking around the restaurant serving... More

We had 3 people in our party. Server made us feel a tad like we were inconveniencing her by sitting down to dinner. I ordered the risotto special. For that price it should have come with a salad. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Beer was cold, which is a plus. Desserts were good, but priced too high. Server did not return... More

One of the worst Italian meals I have had in a long time! I ordered the Shrimp with the Penne alla Vodka Sauce. Because I am on weight watchers, I wanted the sauce on the side which is something I do often in Italian restaurants. For whatever reason, the restaurant put the Shrimp in the vodka sauce instead of on... More

We went her coz my husband's aunt and cousin go here a lot. Our server Ryan, had. Bit of an attitude. Asked for red pepper flakes for my bread and oil, got tasteless flakes about 15 minutes after asking for it. I had the chicken Marsala with sun-dried tomatoes. We're they really sun-dried? Doubtful. More pasta than anything else. My... More
