The restaurant decor is very well done & the dining areas pleasant. The bread provided for the table was good. The rest of our dinner was average. The selection of menu items is good but the quality & preparation especially the NY strip was poor, it was predominantly gristle & fat to the point that I stopped trying to eat... More

We recently celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary at Ferndale. From the moment we walked in the door we received excellent service. The host took us to our table immmediately and got our drink order. Fresh, icy water was served right away.A delicious assortment of fresh breads(especially the pumpkin bread) was a delightful addition. Our waitress was very attentative. I had... More

My husband and I have been dining at Ferndale for at least 25 years now and 2 days ago we celebrated our 35th anniversary there. The Inn is at least a 40 min. drive for us so we must really enjoy their food. Their menu is quite varied and offers fine dining at its best - they also offer some... More

We have passed the Ferndale Inn many times traveling on Route 611, but never had the opportunity to stop in as we were always on the way to "somewhere". So we took the special occasion of my birthday to make the Ferndale the "somewhere" destination. Our positive experience began with the woman who took my reservation and ended with the... More

My husband and I had dinner there this past Saturday and let me tell you was it amazing. We were welcomed as we walked in by a man who offered to hang our coats for us, so kind! Our table was ready for us as we had a reservation and there was no wait. We sat in a room filled... More

Lovely Bucks County stone restaurant, inside was pleasant and cozy. Food was very well prepared and very good. Menu is a bit dated ( I am moving toward vegetarian and would like less meat and more veggies to choose from.) Our waiter was excellent - helpful and efficient. The art on the walls are a bonus. Will definitely return again.

Had dinner here this past Sunday night and couldn't believe how fresh the house salad was and the dill dressing wast delightful! I got the salmon platter which could almost be a meal in itself and my husband got the clams casino, which he said were great. I ordered a half of one of the pasta dishes and it was... More

With many smaller restaurants cutting quality of food to save costs, this restaurant stands above their counterparts. The freshness and quality of their entrees is evident with the first wonderful bite. We had the fortune of dining at the Ferndale Inn last night with another couple, the food and the service was impeccible. We had the shrimp/ crab cakes, 2... More

A very special place to take friends, birthday dinners and anniversary. We have been there many times over the years and it is always very special. After taking friends and family there, they would always ask how we found such a wonderful place.

Our first visit to this charming country inn. Every bite was wonderful! Chicken Cardinale was so tasty. My husband had liver (not something you see a lot) and he LOVED it! Try the dill dressing on your salad. Service was good and allowed us to linger and take it easy. The place is just charming and cozy. Location is a... More
