We have been to Ship Inn multiple times over the last 20 years, in years past the meal was not so good. However we decided to try it again for our 20 wedding anniversary. WOW. The mushroom soup was delectable, spinach and artichoke, crab dip was delicious. The veal Zurich style was so tasty I saved some for lunch the... More

Went to The Ship Inn for an early Saturday night dinner. We were the only ones in the Lighthouse Grille area. Our waiter was pretty good. He did forget to get my wine, but that was about his only flaw. However, I ordered the filet mignon to split with my daughter. They were nice enough to serve it on two... More

The Ship Inn, Exton, PA, combines charm, taste, history, service, atmosphere and more history for an excellent dining experience. If only the walls could speak, as it's been standing and in operation since 1794! Today, the Tangerine Salmon was prepared to perfection with the sweetest and most delicious light sauce that I will absolutely enjoy again in the near future.... More

I was here for an after-funeral luncheon with family. Great, if not tight-fitting, little place to have a nice meal. It's funny, because I live in area where there are at least 20 of these revolution-period inns turned restaurant and it reminded me of at least 6 of them. I felt quite at home, as I am sure you will,... More

That's right; no vegan, gluten-free, labeled local or organic nonsense. Just fresh food prepared well and served by a courteous and knowledgable staff. If that's enough to keep the pretentious, self-righteous idiots away, I'll eat here all the time!

What they cook, they cook well; their steak and seafood dishes are quite nice. BUT---the menu is straight out of the 1960s; if you're looking for a healthy option, they don't even have as much as a pasta dish that could be ordered without meat. They say they have vegetarian options available, but what you get if you ask for... More

Food was decent. Little pricey for some of the items (12 bucks for a small bowl of kids pasta?!? Even pure Italian restaurants don't charge that) and they need a clue on how to serve wine...two people at our party of 13 ordered red – with came out as cold as the white wines that were also ordered...the server said,... Will NEVER eat here again. Stay away. Food I would not give to a dog. Family VERY disappointed in the Ships Inn. A take out pizza would have been a 100% inprovement.

We dined hear late one Saturday evening and the food was ok, nothing to rave about. For the price and the atmosphere we were anticipating a very tasty meal. So the food was underwhelming. I do not think we will go back.
