Excellent Atmosphere and Food

Attended a wedding and dinner here and was truly impressed by the ambiance of the old inn and rooms. Excellent food. Not sure to be disappointed with the service or their operations. May not be the servers fault that the delivery of the meal was extremely slow. It was difficult to wait, for... read more

A calm and civilized place this old world charmer is. Rich colonial Pennsylvania style with muted rooms and properly set tables offering a single candle stick each. Staff is calm, personable and smooth Dishes are a wide range of upscale favorites with country flavor. We'll be back!!

My son took me to dinner here. I had always wanted to go but we don't get to go to restaurants like this very often. The dress code is relaxed business so my son did not need a suit. We sat at a table by the fire. There were many tables by windows which would have also been lovely. My... More

We had not been to Duling-Kurtz in quite awhile so we were looking forward to a nice meal in a nice atmosphere. The popovers are excellent and arrived hot. My wife had the scallop appetizer, soup and salad. They were good. I had the escargot and the roast duck. The escargot were well prepared but the duck was way over... More

We went here on Christmas Eve to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had 6:00 reservations and have been here several times prior. We didn't get seated till 6:25 and the people there were people with 6:30 reservations for a party of 5 that sat down next to us after we were seated. They were able to order and receive their... Celebrated some friends' 50th wedding anniversary last Friday night here, and with 3 couples, all of whom are practiced at culinary prep, you assume something won't be quite right, or that someone will get a disappointing meal. Not true, at least here. Each aspect of the night was perfect, with an (almost overly) attentive waitress who knew the night's specials... More

A wonderful choice for an important celebration. We are 5 siblings with our spouses who go out every 6-8 weeks for dinner together. No repeats. After waiting for illness to go away from some of us, we chose Duling-Kurtz House restaurant for our special celebration. The private was quiet and we could all hear each other (10 of us) The... Our Ladies Luncheon Group chose this restaurant because of past great dining experiences and were very pleased to see that it hasn't changed. This charming old early American Inn in Chester County is attractive and filled with ambiance. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel accompanied with spaetzle and red cabbage which is a specialty of the establishment and it was one... More

We stayed in the Lincoln Suite and our room was beautiful. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Worth every penny! Service was A+ as well.
