We have been going to Duling Kurtz for special occasions for over twenty years. Every experience was one to be remembered, in a good way. Not yesterday evening. I had requested a cozy spot to celebrate our anniversary, instead we were given a table by a doorway that kept a lovely cold breeze on my back (not really something you... More

Dining at Duling-Kurtz is a total experience. My wife and I celebrated a late anniversary with dinner during the week. The restaurant was busy but not crowded, and the services were excellent all the way from the coat check at the entrance through the meal itself. Because we had time for a leisurely meal, we were there almost two hours.... More

By far, this was in the top three best restaurants I've ever been to in my plus 50 years! The food was fantastic, the service perfect, and the environment warm and inviting. I could write volumes about this restaurant but you have to experience it to understand how good it really is. Take the reviewers advice and go. It's worth... More

My wife and I had an incredible anniversary dinner at this old inn. We reserved their Duling-Kurtz room. It is a small private room with a lot of room for two. Much quieter than their other dining rooms and very romantic. Over 20+ years we have booked this room for an anniversary dinner three times. The inn is beautifully decorated... More

I have visited Duling-Kurtz previously, both as a dinner guest and as part of a business dinner event. On all occasions, it was very good and memorable. Recently, when considering a location for a special event, I recalled previously enjoying the Duling-Kurtz, and, looking to mix-things-up a bit from the regular rotation of familiar restaurants, made reservations. From the minute... More

We have dined at this restaurant three times. The first time was very good. The ambiance, charm and attentive service was special. The second time was mediocre. We came as a group and expected a wonderful meal. The pheasant dish was very dry … unappealing. When this was expressed to the server, he merely nodded his head politely, said nothing,... More

Duling-Kurtz is one of the best restaurants in the area and has prices to match. However, the wonderful, historic setting and the excellent food cannot be beaten and we use this restaurant as one of our special occasion places. I have been there for my birthday dinner for the last several years and have had a great time on each... More

There is so much I can say but not sure if I have the space. First, we like to eat early on Sunday's to skip the crowds and the fact we normally only have two meals. It is very difficult to find a good restaurant that opens before 5:00 for seating. (4:00pm we were able to make a reservation). From... More

The food is very good, the menu is diverse and the service is very friendly. I recommend the lobster crepes. Everytime I have visited Duling Kurtz I have been made to feel right at home. The atmosphere is lovely, especially since the Inn has to be at least 100 years old. A must so while in SE PA.

This is one of the finest country style inns in Pennsylvania. The food is always excellent and the wait staff are so very friendly and helpful. The wine list is also quite interesting and we have always enjoyed our go to restaurant when entertaining friends.
