Love this place!

I really love how fresh there sushi is. The sweetheart roll is delicious! I get it with soy paper instead of seaweed. My husband enjoys the Godzilla roll! The chicken satay is very good too. We eat here at least once a week it is a byob. Try it you will not be disappointed in the food!

Umami has been our go to sushi spot for a few years. A couple times this year we had takeout sushi that had some unusually chewy pieces of fish that seemed bad. Couple that with several takeout orders that were incorrect and it seemed like quality was slipping. Our last dine in experience was really crazy though. We made a... More

I have never eaten INSIDE - we have only gotten take out. But, hands down - the best sushi in the area - and the best prices! Check them out!!!

My wife and I have been to Umami at least six times at various times during the week and we have never had a bad meal. The Sushi is fresh and the dinners are always flavorful. Friday or Saturday night is worth the 45 to 1 hour wait.

I have had lunch there a few times and take out for dinner as it close to my hotel and my office here in Exton. The sushi is good quality and they have some interesting/different rolls. They have a really good roll that is done with cucumber/no rice if you are looking for a no carb selection.

Ate here with some of my husband's relatives. Brother-in-law complained, "I knew you would all have me eating Japanese food" as he knew the three of us women loved it and he was outnumbered. He was able to get Thai curry which he thought was fine, and picked out an enjoyable white wine for all of us. The edamame was... More

A solid 4 star restaurant, deserving of 4.5 if possible. We ordered the fried rice and pad thai for us and the kids. The kids loved the rice but not the "noodles". No problem. We gladly ate them. I would certainly return, perhaps without he kids so I could be more "adventurous".

We have eaten here several times, and have found the food to be average and the customer service to be poor. Tonight takes the cake! We ordered take-out, and my 8 year-old son loves crab rangoon. We are munching away at the dinner table, and my son found a band-aid in his crab rangoon. Horrified I telephoned the restaurant, and... More

My boyfriend and I stopped in here on vacation. This place is super good! We both did the lunch special 3 rolls for 11.50, which is an excellent deal. The rolls you were able to choose from were your traditional shrimp tempura, Boston roll, etc. (No speciality rolls). Even though they were basic it was well worth the price. You... More

The rolls are the best in the area, they are big but very expensive. Service is good, it is just too expensive. No refills on Coke and they charge extra for an small dish of sauce.
