Nothing to write home about...

Business luncheon on a Thursday -they claim to make all 5 of their soups in-house, however only had one available. Only one lunch special, that day and items are pricy. Average lunch cost at our table was $11.00.

I have been here twice in the last month since the reopening (due to a fire a few years back.) Both occasions were weekends and we didn't wait any longer than 5 minutes to be seated. The service was excellent. The food - wow. All four of us were pleased with our meals. The steak is out of this world.... More

The new restaurant is redone very nice. Service was excellent to say the least. But the porterhouse steak, which the waitress told us the smaller cut was unavailable, on a Friday at 5:00. we opted for the larger more expensive cut. Arrived at our table and was cooked perfectly. However, the steak was totally without flavor. I don't normally use... More

couldn't wait to go there for valentines. What a disappointment . I understand its a very busy day. waited 25 minutes after we flagged down the hostess to get a sever then another 20'minutes to get drinks. Then 1 hour in to being there got to place order. 20 minutes later got our salads. Then 1 1/2 for food. Got... More

Went Friday before Valentines Day. Busy but enough wait staff to handle the crowd. Did not wait for anything. Steaks were cooked to perfection. I ordered the 22oz. New York Strip and could cut it with my fork. Pricey, but dont mind paying for an excellant meal. . fork.d

Sharpen your knives and dig in to a great piece of beef! But bring back the Gazebo Room Greek Salad Dressing Please! George and his lovely and talented wife Loola do it right!

We ate at the new Hillside in the middle of the afternoon, so it wasn't busy. I don't remember our server's name, but she was EXCELLENT! Efficient and attentive. Our food items were the same as we remembered. Chili, steak, crab cake, and broiled scallops were all very good. The rolls were not good, as a previous reviewer mentioned. Sweet... More

The Hillside burned down and recently reopened. Hopefully the owner will sell it soon and turn it over to someone who can manage. On the night that I was there the bar tender( I ate at the bar) was over whelmed. He had a huge bar to manage, all the dining room drinks to pour, and when it got busy... More

Since rebuilt, much nicer and food still great. Had the chicken corn chowder, awesome, and the chicken cheesesteak which we prefer without the sauce. Washed it down with a Troegs Perpetual IPA. My only wish would be to have more Troegs beers available. Overall great place to visit.

We were anxious to try Hillside again after they re-opened. What a disappointment. First - two highlights. Our server Kelsey was wonderfully pleasant and efficient. The crab cake my wife ordered was good. Not stellar - but good. Now the issues. Parking is beyond stupid. Bad layout, no markings, poorly lit, and not enough. Of course, if the food stays... More
