If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. Husband and I were staying in hotel next door and wanted to have breakfast before a day of sightseeing. Husband was concerned there were only 2 cars in the parking lot at 8:30 am, particularly when Denny's lot (2 doors down) was full. But since it was a weekday we... More

I walked over from hotel next door for dinner after long day on the road. What a disappointment. Service was questionable and the meal was just not good.

Since my elderly father and I were staying nearby, we ate here twice. The first time we ate here, the service was excellent. The second time we ate here, the service was lousy. The food was good both times. I guess the quality of the service depends on when you eat here and/or how crowded they are at the time.... More

All is our party felt like Marilyn from the Munsters during our recent visit to the Philly Diner. It was just strange: the building, the staff, the our diners. The service was disjointed and slowwwwww. They never had any coffee ready, but then when it was served it was burned? All of our orders were wrong. The food was fair,... More

I've gone a few times since starting s new job in the area. Service and food can be a little schizophrenic. Once was great on both. Another was poor on both. They have a shrimp bisque soup which is outstanding. However, it is not usually available. In general, they are a good dinner, decent prices and pretty good food.

Food was average, nothing special, waiter was efficient and friendly and prompt. Ordered a rib eye steak that was a bit overcooked and over salted, but edible.

Good enough breakfast, typical diner food. Server was friendly but seemed to have difficulty handling a group of 16.

My wife and I each ordered 2 eggs, bacon and coffee. Bill was $32.00 and change (excluding any tip). Service was very sloooow and as it was, my wife's order was wrong. Denny's is just down the street, go there instead.

Staying near the airport the night before our flight and diner was just down the road. Typical of the old style diners in ambiance. Friendly staff, food was good and portions large. Prices were reasonable too. The place shows its age and looked a little dingy. But no complaints and would stop in again if in similar circumstances.

Stayed at a nearby hotel, so had breakfast at Philly Diner the 1st morning in town. The menu has a great variety of breakfast offerings. I had a fairly basic eggs/meat/potatoes selection. Chose to have the scrapple because I'm not from the area and had never had it. Nice and livery. I liked it. Very warm. My eggs were a... More
