Stopped here on our way home after Roar on the Shore 2014. Corned beef hash was excellent! Real corned beef, homemade not canned. I do not typically like corned beef hash as at most places it is not homemade like this was. Sweet potatoes pancake was delicious too. Cindy the waitress friendly and prompt. Will add this to our must... More

George's has been in Erie for many years. It's where to go especially for breakfast or lunch, for great comfort food and service. We most recently were there for breakfast, where I had superb sweet potato pancakes and the endless cup of coffee, and my guy had a typical eggs - toast- sausage - home fries breakfast. The lunch and... More

When you walk in to Georges you will like you stepped back in time from the checkerboard floor to the light red booths. When you sit down you will be promptly greeted by one of the fantastic waitresses and given the specials. The service and food at this establishment is fantastic. I have ate their several times and have never... More

Stopped in for breakfast before leaving Erie after a few day visit. I had the chicken & waffles and my Husband had the stuffed French Toast which was huge. The food was very good and Trevor and his staff was very friendly. Will visit again when in the area.

George's Restaurant takes ordinary food and makes it extraordinary! I always ask if they have quiche (which does not appear on their menu). And it's ALWAYS excellent! It is served with or without hollandaise sauce, and typically comes with an order of your choice of fries or fruit. But George's offers a whole lot more to love. The crab bisque... More

Was in Erie last weekend and, after leaving the hotel downtown, my buddies and I said "let's find a place to grab some brunch." Driving along, saw this place, saw the packed parking lot, and couldn't pass it up. Looks like a 50s diner, has a fantastic atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. Prices were reasonable, wait staff was very... More

Chili could be better, but dependable tasty choices.. a little high on price. Fun, local establishment, neat location.

We seem to get to George's for breakfast. All I can say is: YUMMY! Specials were delicious and prices Erie reasonable. Same excellent service, same "retro" atmosphere cool and unpretentious.
