My husband and I don't live too far from this restaurant so decided to bicycle to Pufferbelly. They have a smaller, but very nice outside dining area. We have a diners card that Pufferbelly is on which allows us two visits during the year with buy one get one meal and used this for our lunch. We both ordered hot... More

On our way to Cleveland we stopped off in Erie for dinner. This restaurant sounded fun, and being in an old firehouse it was right up my alley. The decor, and atmosphere were incredible. The wait staff was very helpful, and prompt. Our food was very good once all the components were at the table. It seems the people preparing... More

The atmosphere was just great with all the old fire stuff from the fire house ! There was a lot of patches that firefighters have brought there and they are hanging on the wall in frames. The food was good and so pricey.

We have been loyal customers for over 15 years. Was worried after reading a few reviews before our last trip that things had slipped but were pleased to find things were as awesome as we remembered. Our primary reason for stopping by each time we are in town is for the Chocolate Snowball but we have never had a meal... More

Quaint place to dine in Erie, although the food was not spectacular. Not sure I'd go back, but it was an enjoyable place to visit. Just expected more based on recommendations from friends.

After biking at Presque Isle we ate at the Pufferbelly in Erie Pa. We had a nice relaxing meal. The salads were fresh with a nice choice of dressings. The special Crab Stuffed Haddock was delicious as was the Pecan Crusted Haddock. each came with Wilson Rice and a good mix of sauteed vegetables. Price was fair for our entrees. The... More

A dinner date with my husband provided a 'warm' atmosphere for a relaxing meal. A restored city fire station, now renovated into a restaurant, provided a novel place to eat and view the fire-fighting tools of the trade from the past. A short, but ample menu provided selections for appetizers, entrees, salads, sandwiches, and desserts We chose the bacon-wrapped shrimp... More

If you are traveling to Erie you really should check out the Pufferbelly. This is a true Erie landmark. The food is made fresh and not part of a chain's mass marketing campaign. The building is a real part of Erie heritage. If you are really into history or firefighting or both, after your meal you should check out the... More

The food was excellent, the service was great. We were there for lunch and enjoyed everything we ordered. The atmosphere is great--love the old firefighting equipment and looking at all of the history of these heroes through the years!
