My husband and I ate here because the reviews were so great and because we love authentic Mexican food. We were disappointed on all accounts. The food is super expensive and the preparation is lackluster, to say the least. Soup was thin and not spiced well. I truly don't understand what people see in this restaurant. The owner was extremely... More

Pktravel978, With all due respect, I am not sure, if you ever visited my place or you just took some other peoples comments to make your own to answer trip advisor’s emails about ranking places in Erie, PA. Regardless, I am always fascinated reading statements from reviewers like you saying: “””we love authentic Mexican food” and then find out that... More

I know this restaurant gets a lot of great reviews, but I'm truly confused. While the place is cute, and the menu looks good, the quality of the food was disappointing compared to the price. It's one of the mysterious things about the online menu - there are no prices, so when we arrived and had to pay $5 for... More

Ms. Johnson, Thank you very much for your visit. Besides the generous ($10.00 USD) tip you gave us the best compliment you could have given us was your statement, with an smile in your face, about my Chile Relleno tasting exactly like the one an old lady (I forgot her name) cooks and serves you in the small town you... Amazing food, drink, and service! We had a wonderful time! The guacamole and homemade chips were delicious. I had the chile rellenos and my husband had the mole - we cleaned our plates! The best was the fun conversation with the owner!

We were very excited to go to this place, since we have no good mexican near us and had read that this place is authentic. Not so much. The guacamole and sangria are very delicious, but the entrees were lacking. I ordered the pollo mole, which was far too chocolatey, and not enough spices. My friend's cheese enchiladas were filled... Mimiinbflo, I am happy to hear you liked our Guacamole, Sangria, Service and Atmosphere. While we know that it will be impossible to please everybody all the time I need to respond and clarify a few things about your comment “””not so much authentic”””. Our mole sauce is one of our biggest seller and for the most part people that... More

Had dinner and drinks with a friend. The space is beautiful, etched glass, paint colors on the walls, beautiful wood table tops are all very nice. The place is clean and staff attentive. My margarita was out of this world good a bit pricey but for a special treat worth it this is not a mix with cheap liquor top... More

Authentic Mexican food cooked by the owner's mom. I gathered with a group of friends for dinner. Casual, friendly atmosphere.Chile relleno was the best I've ever eaten in the US.

This lace has some of the best salsa I have ever had. The pork with mole sauce was delicious, but deciding what to order was difficult because the menu is authentic Mexican, and everything looked fantastic! I love the family run atmosphere. Friendliness was the order of the day and the service was perfecto. The decor was fun as well.... More

Delicious home-cooked Mexican food prepared by the owner's mother. Straightforward menu, including a daily specialty. Attentive service. Attractive and clean. A very good choice in Erie. Not far from the lakefront.

Came en route cleveland to chautauqua and worth the 10 min drive off 90 to get the fresh flounder and best chicken mole you will find. Cerviche was fresh and full of flavor. Flan for dessert and a couple of dark beers and wish we had stopped in from chautauqua years ago. Decor well done and owner is attentive and... More
